Frampton vs Santa Cruz (and Rigo/Quigg)

Post by crusader »

The three opponents I'd most like to see Frampton face are Rigo, Quigg, and Santa Cruz. I'm fairly confident that Frampton loses to Rigo and beats Quigg, but I'm not confident about who would win the last bout.

What are your thoughts on that and do you agree with me on Rigo/Quigg?

I think he likely loses to Rigo, beats Quigg and I think he could outbox LSC but like you I find it a hard one to pick.

I agree - sort of. I think he CAN beat them all.

Will Frampton now make it above Murray in your P4P list? :OhYes:

I firmly believe that if Frampton fought Rigo, he CAN catch him clean, and it may only take the one time, see how Rigo's chin stands up...of course easier said than done but not impossible

Frampton beats them all except Rigo.

Quigg - too brittle.

Santa Cruz - too predictable.

Avalos - might be trickier than the other two as funny as that may sound. A tough guy with height and reach.

Nice to see you're still around steve :TU:

Rigo has got to favourite against everyone in the world below 130lbs. The man is a knightmare to catch clean.

I would pick Frampton to beat them all. Quigg underrated, but Rigo can be hurt. I don't think Carl would outbox him for twelve rounds but he absolutely has the right combination of power and skills to put Rigo in trouble.
