Matty askin v ovill mckenzie

Post by DAVE2005 »

This fight has been added to the echo arena bill on the 25th October in Liverpool.
The British and commonwealth titles are on the line.
It look like it could be a cracking fight.
I'd like to hear your thought on the outcome.cheers Dave

If Askin can stay out of trouble for the first few rounds I see him stopping McKenzie late.
Ovill is dangerous but less so late on and Askin can punch and has the advantage of learning from the mistakes of Conquest and Dickinson

Ovill on the up and I wouldn't back against him in this one, but a good match up

Followed Matty's career from the Ams through to the pros. Think he has a chance due to being the naturally bigger man.

That being said, I think it's a slim chance and when he feels McKensie's Power his arse will fall out and he will not want to know.

Mc Kensie KO.

Did you happen to see mattys last fight? Hurt his hand in the 1st,gritted his teeth and won a hard fought contest. I think you'll be suprised at his determination and the fact that his "arse" will still be intact after the fight.

Awesome fight. Typical of all Ovills fights this one. Does he get Matty early or does Ovill run out of gas. Cant wait for this one.

great fight.

the british cruiser title gets passed around so often...but the fights are very entertaining.

when is someone going to dominate, make a string of defences, and at least try for euro honours?

To be fair Jon-Lewis Dickinson looked to be on his way to doing just that with three successful defences. But the upsetter put a stop to that!

It would be nice to see Ovill go on a nice run and get a shot at European honours.
