Why would they want to fight for a foreign title?

Isn't the title more geographic than political, so why should it be considered foreign?

For me I believe we have been ripped apart as a country from governments we have not elected for far to long, Margaret thatcher ripped apart any good industry we had up here, we have been dragged into far to many illegal wars in recent times and now we have a chance to thrive as a nation why wouldnt we take it? I liking it to having money and allowing your parents to dictate what you do with it, why would I do that when I can be in command of my affairs, would you allow us to call the shots from up here in scotland and allow us to dictate to all affairs that go on in the UK? no chance, I have always liked the saying quality over quantity, just because we are gonna lose out on many perks of being part of the union does not mean we cannot thrive with the industries we already have? Too many people saying you wouldnt get divorced then keep the bank card? why does it need to be a bitter divorce? we are making a choice and that doesnt mean we cant get along in the interests of both party's.

Having our cake and eat? the currency doesn't belong to just England its as much Scotland as yours, Not to mention if we are to take the oil receipts and form a new currency or go with the euro then we would shatter the pound over night, im sorry but its simple as that then thats punishing everyone, Export rates go up between 2 country's then its just tit for tat which for me is pointless. If you were in our situation you would say the exact same, Better together? we are spending billions on warfare and neglecting welfare! Makes no sense

Alex Salmond is a sly old dog. Scots need to be wary of him. A good talker no doubt but would sell the scottish people down the river if it was good for him no doubt.

I think that the Jocks need to be careful what they wish for.

Alex Salmond is under pressure to accept Scotland's £100billion share of Britain's national debt if the UK refuses to let him use the pound.

Are you for real ? - I am saying the exact opposite.

It seems that many of the "Yes" voters just quote oil revenues without knowing exactly what those revenue are and exactly how long they will last - and conveniently forget about their share of the national debt.

I am saying that the Alex Salmond quote about invading is indicative of his attitude - he doesn't care, and if it comes to the crunch I don't think that he even cares about the Scottish people, just himself and his own personal crusade.

As a Scotsman i like the idea of independance although im still uncertain about if its the right thing to do or not. The rest of the uk seem to be mouthing off about how much of a failure an independant scotland would be that its resulted in a lot of Scots deciding to vote yes just for pride. If Scotland do go independant then the current government deserve any criticism that will go their way because of their half arsed attitude towards maintaining the union. I believe they underestimated the Scottish people in this campaign and may have caused the break up of the union by having done so!

Interesting hearing their point of view on it actually.....it was nothing to do with Scots hating the English etc its more about being governed by people in Westminster who don't really care about anything north of the Watford gap

Its no secret that quite a lot of people in the north of England feel the same as scotland do.....

With Antony Joshua kicking on, I doubt there’s a chance Gary Cornish will lift the British title unless he’s willing to wait around for Joshua to become disinterested with the uk belt and chase bigger things he might get a Scottish belt though. lol. Independence needs to happen for a multitude of reasons. How much of Scotland's current revenue is achieved through being part of the union?
Outside investors are not technically investing in Scottish companies at the moment, they are investing in UK companies that happen to be based in Scotland, there is no guarantee that an indepeindent Scotland will continue to receive the same level of investment, which in turn May slow Scotland's growth (at least in th short term).
But I do wish Scotland the best of luck if they vote yes, I hope it is a wake up call to Westminster that to have so much power and wealth in the bottom corner of the country is unhealthy and won't be stood for.

I do agree that Cornish needs to avoid Joshua like the plague and time his shot at the British title perfectly.
