Andrade - Korobov ordered to fight WBO 160 lb title

Philadelphia (September 10, 2014)-- The World Boxing Organization ordered a bout between Jr. Middleweight champion Demetrius Andrade (21-0, 14 KO's) and Matt Korobov (24-0, 14 KO's) to fight for the vacant Middleweight championship.

"We are very happy and delighted that the WBO has given Demetrius Andrade this great opportunity to fight for the Middleweight world title," said Banner Promotions CEO Artie Pelullo.

"It's a great opportunity for Demetrius to become a two-division world champion. Matt Korobov and Demetrius Andrade were both 2007 world amateur champions & 2008 Olympians. Demetrius from the United States and Korobov from Russia. As professionals they are both undefeated and their paths will finally cross."

Andrade doesn't have better skills but I agree about mentality. If Korobov doesn't get more motivated, he will get outworked by Andrade.

korobov's best opponent. andrade will be favored but if the odds were
crazy i wouldn't hesitate to bet on korobov. it's a test for both.

the judge that had it for vanes had it 115-112. one of the judges that had it for andrade only had
him winning by one point, 114-113. if you think it was one-sided, then you think 2 of the 3 judges
should be fired, not just one.
look for someone who watched it live who was really impressed with andrade that day

Korobov box is not a guy who will want a slugfest. He likes to put traps and catch his opponents.
