This can do nothing but help in Joshua's development. I wish him well.

Klitchko's size and conditioning is insane. If he had a chin like ali or even his brother, he'd be the ultimate heavyweight fighter, he's a remarkable athlete.

Because of his size and Athleticism imo Joshua is likely to be the man a hw. Him getting valuable time in camp with Wlad is gonna be immensely beneficial

Good to see. Been saying for a while now that Joshua should stick like glue to Wlad. Surprised he hasn't been in with him many times before.

Wlad's the bigger man we don't need pictures to prove it.

It's a great opportunity for Anthony something he should learn a lot from.

Joshua is certainly bigger up top, although he seems a bit shorter and I think his calves are clearly smaller.

This will do Joshua a world of good, like it did Wilder. I would imagine Wlad is a good teacher, and will help Joshua fix a couple of things. Joshua seems to be a bit stiff or robotic-like at times, but as he gains experience and confidence will loosen up I think. Stamina could be an issue as it normally is with big guys that pack on lots of muscle. Time will tell.

Hopefully Joshua will be right in the mix in a year or two, as long as they don't try to bring him on too fast on his way to a title shot.

maybe a little bit but AJ is pretty big too. both are two great looking HW fighters unlike some of those fat guys running around in the HW division.

People go on about Wladimir K's chin as he has been down 11 times in his career but if you look at the guys that put him down at world level in the shape of Lamon Brewster, Samuel Peter and Corrie Sanders they were all guys who could seriously bang and even the journeyman Ross Purrity who was the first man to defeat and stop Wladimir K could also dig as well. And he is a remarkable athlete as he is always in shape all year round as he does kite surfing amongst other things to keep himself fit.

You compare to Vitali you also have to take into account Wladimir has been alot more luckier with injuries than Vitali has been, because Vitali had his shoulder go against Chris Byrd, he did his knee prior to fighting Hasim Rahman plus numerous back injuries as well which explains to why Vitali was out for four years between the wins against Danny Williams in 2004 and Peter in 2008 when he regained the WBC belt. As for Big Josh sparing Klitschko it is great for him and should provide a fantastic education for him as Big Josh is an intelligent young man who knows he has got alot to learn and work in and he has the right attitude and mindset to become a great world champion in this sport that we all love.

Good to see the footage. I guess there are quiet a few who pay more to see that spar then Fury Chisora 2.5.

I don't know. But I'd probably be more interested in the spar. More people seem to be talking about it.

no, I found nothing on sparring itself...I put this pick here to show how deceptive they might be depending on angles, perspectives, etc...

Anthony Joshua is convinced he has what it takes to reach the top after spending ten days sparring with heavyweight king Wladimir Klitschko.

The undefeated 24-year-old has been tipped by many as a future world champion and said his experience in the ring with Klitschko has given him confidence he can eventually get there.

“Yes, I felt that way,” he told Sky Sports News HQ when asked if he could compete at Klitschko’s level. “Time will tell. It is a tough old sport, especially at heavyweight. I did feel comfortable.

“But I didn’t do too much. I only sparred five rounds. He stays in there for 15 rounds so that is what I have to build up to, staying switched on and concentrating for a good 12 rounds.

“At the moment I am good for six to eight, so I am just at the building stage. In the near future I should be able to mix in that company.”

Joshua was full of praise for Klitschko, who has dominated the division for over a decade, and learned valuable lessons after observing his preparations.

“I was out there for 10 days and it was a great experience,” he said. “I would love to do it again so if the offer came I would definitely shoot straight out there.

"He’s a great champion, an unbelievable champion. It is not just in the ring, it is what he does outside the ring as well. He is a great role model."
Anthony Joshua

“He’s a great champion, an unbelievable champion. It is not just in the ring, it is what he does outside the ring as well. He is a great role model.

“Moving in that company was different to what I am used to. He is the main man out there.

“He just knows boxing. He had the great trainer Emmanuel Steward working with him and now has got Johnathon Banks, who is a fighter and understands what the game is right now.

“It is crazy to have someone who is competing and training you, but he has a good trainer and a good camp. It is very simple but very effective.”

Joshua continues his career against Konstantin Airich this Saturday on the undercard of Scott Quigg’s WBA super-bantamweight title defence against Stephane Jamoye in Manchester.

The Watford-born fighter cannot wait to get back in the ring and is confident he can stretch his professional record to 8-0 against his Kazakh-born opponent.

“Saturday can’t come soon enough,” he said. “It’s like normal now fighting back-to-back, but I just need to get the job done this Saturday.

“A fight is a fight. There will only be one winner and hopefully, without sounding too confident, that will be me.”

Joshua is on a path, its laid out for him already.
Bunch of pictures means nothing, they can be interpreted a number of different ways.
Looks like pure public relations.
Joshua has and will continue to be fed for at least another year before they let him off the leash on his own.
He has talent, lets see how he moves along.
