Unbeaten Patterson wins easily with 5th rnd injury stoppage. As I remember Patterson was signed by Allegedly, let go quite quickly.... His career was moving slowly but won impressively.
He's unbeatenas a pro, I think lost only a couple in Amateurs, got to London final, but pulled out with injury.
If he was a ticket seller, he wouldn't have been let go by allegedly. He also was on an awful programme marrying his fiancé, so there is some PR there.
I would like to see him fight Bradley Skeete in South London derby. An even fight in my opinion.
Anyone go to the fight?

Yes mate. First time I've seen Patterson and I was impressed. They didn't get into the ring until very very late so credit to both fighters who were left in the dressing rooms for such a long time.

Nice one. He's very athletic and very fit. Doesn't punch too hard though, and from experience doesn't like to be hit (both a positive ad negative thng :-))Parson Cross wrote:Yes mate. Some of the pre-fight predictions made interesting reading. Not many had actually seen Patterson box live, and I think Gaynor's win against Adil Anwar clouded a lot of judgement.
Patterson will be very difficult to beat over 12 rounds.

Fantastic performance by Patterson, it's the 1st time I've seen him live and he's very very good, fast left hand, jab and lead hook, looked like chad was surprised how strong Patterson was on the inside as well, I thought before hand the fight would be close and would depend who made it there fight but Patterson dominated from start to finish, on the outside and inside, chad is a good fighter and Patterson looked a good couple of levels above, he has a very bright future, I look forward to seeing more from him

I used to see him train down the Lodge, see a couple of his amateur fights. Always thought he'd be good, (not that I'm a great judge).

Had a look on youtube, nothing on there, found his wedding TV show thing if anyone's interested - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2YYYOA-A4NwKing Tubby wrote:Where can I see this fight?
Seems the only way to access it is fight pass and I'm not sure if you can watch the shows again on there, I didn't fancy paying for something that was previously offered for free, especially at £30 a year for 10-15 shows.

I've not seen the fight but I have seen Gaynor and Patterson fight before. I think both are very skilled but as was said earlier, I had thought Gaynor would have had too much power for him.
From what I heard, Gaynor was blowing by round 3 and getting his head jabbed off so full credit to Patterson, totally deserved the win and had apparantly won every round!
Just goes to show though, when you disrupt a young fighters training regime, dazzle him with the bright lights of LA, change his trainer, mess with his head etc, then it doesn't always work out for the best.

I think alot of people really got overboard with the job Gaynor did on Anwar.
it was an excellent stoppage but Patterson was also really underated by alot of people have a feeling most of them had never seen him fight.
even seen some people saying Gaynor would KO patterson with ease within 5 rounds which i just found bewildering.
