Hmm not sure about that stoppage. Vassell was definietly in trouble and he didnt at the stoppage but it seemed like it could of gone on a little longer.

Its absolute bollocks. He was in no more trouble than in the 3rd rd.

Another silly stoppage after so much effort from both guys.

So desperate to stop it he fell over in the process. He was on his feet, hadn't looked hurt and then he took a couple of clean punches, back into the ropes, then stopped.

Well done to Eggington, theres a bit of raw talent there with him being only 20 years old. I agree with you Vassell took a lot in the 3rd aswell so I'd give him the benefit of the doubt.

Crolla's fight is like a world title eliminator according to Halling, how can it be like an eliminator? Even if Crawford vacates he isn't first in line and beating Diaz won't put him there. If he's lucky and gets the vacant title fight, throw him in with Stephen Ormond and watch him unravel.

Blown up featherweight who's been stopped in his last two meaningful fights, at a lighter weight. I don't think Crolla will have any issues but if he's going to be fighting for world titles he needs to moving past domestic level, not fighting a man who would lose to most of the top lightweights in the country at this stage.

I know nobody rates Crolla but he's giving everything and he has a good trainer and that gives him a chance. He makes the best of what he's got and that's what I like about him. Reminds me of me. You don't always have to back the sure-fire winner.

It's not that nobody rates him, it's just that he isn't world class and is a long way from it, he's a good solid, domestic level fighter who will be, and has been, in some great fights at that level, but when he moves up a level he will fall short.

If anyone wants to tell me that in the modern era of titles he hasn't done enough to earn a shot I will call them a pudendum. Would he be favoured to beat any of the champs? No, but no-one can begrudge him getting a shot
