Is it fair to say that Diaz won't be asked back to fight in a Matchroom card again!!?

Some bookies will retun the stake.... Others won't
Re: Official boxrec RBR thread - Manchester and Mayweather cards
Put your money on AJ.
Re: Official boxrec RBR thread - Manchester and Mayweather cards
Given any chance they would have let it go another round then fucked him on the cards, Diaz knew the minute he was cut it was bad and probably knew he wasn't going to be carrying on, just because he knew it was over doesn't mean he wanted out, just that if he showed any sign of being willing to continue they would have allowed him to go on and stopped it later when they knew Crolla was up on the cards.ThereByTheGrace wrote:Is it fair to say that Diaz won't be asked back to fight in a Matchroom card again!!?

Who can get the closest pick on the result of AJ's fight?
I'm going for 1:27 to go in the third.

Agreed. Diaz is too wily to take the unnecessary loss. Disappointing as the fight would have been interesting.expe wrote:Given any chance they would have let it go another round then fucked him on the cards, Diaz knew the minute he was cut it was bad and probably knew he wasn't going to be carrying on, just because he knew it was over doesn't mean he wanted out, just that if he showed any sign of being willing to continue they would have allowed him to go on and stopped it later when they knew Crolla was up on the cards.ThereByTheGrace wrote:Is it fair to say that Diaz won't be asked back to fight in a Matchroom card again!!?

2:21 of R2.
Re: Official boxrec RBR thread - Manchester and Mayweather cards
Ha. I'll have a bit of that, but I need to look at opponent's record first.
Re: Official boxrec RBR thread - Manchester and Mayweather cards
For AJs fight I'm gonna go 1:30 of round 1

2.10 or round 1. I don't rate Airich that highly in terms of his durability.

40 seconds of round 1

Ok, I'll say Airich will quit on the stool inbetween 1 and 2.
Re: Official boxrec RBR thread - Manchester and Mayweather cards
Okay I'll go for a stoppage between the second and third rounds.

I still feel we're looking at the next David Price and not the next Lennox Lewis
Re: Official boxrec RBR thread - Manchester and Mayweather cards
Airich is pretty much looking like a punching bag. There's no real movement or anything. He lands the odd decent body shot here and there but that's about it.
Re: Official boxrec RBR thread - Manchester and Mayweather cards
It isn't going to last another round.
Re: Official boxrec RBR thread - Manchester and Mayweather cards
Im still not completely sold myself. I think he's better and will achieve more than Price but I dont think he's as talented as Wlad. His punches and the way he moves just doesnt look very fluid to me. It looks forced.Boxing Prospect wrote:I still feel we're looking at the next David Price and not the next Lennox Lewis

Doe this mean all bets are off!
Re: Official boxrec RBR thread - Manchester and Mayweather cards
One big mistake Joshua made for me was going with Tony Sims. I just dont rate him as a trainer.

I thank you. I was about 12-15 seconds out.
Re: Official boxrec RBR thread - Manchester and Mayweather cards
He should smash Baktov on Oct 11th Charr did him in 5 and he is poor.
The big question is has he got a defence ?????????

I think we need to create a Super HW division. The difference in size and weight in some of these "contests" is just mental. I'm amazed the Governing bodies haven't done it already to make more dough.
Re: Official boxrec RBR thread - Manchester and Mayweather cards
Well done sklar!
AJ's jab reminds me of Larry Holmes. I know it's early to say but I think he can go all the way.
