There is something good from that, a holder lost. Hopefully we'll sew a backlash against the hit and hold or just plain holding tactic. Also Bey vs Shafikov should be better than Shafikov vs Vazquez II.

As for the actual score atrocious, if it wasn't corruption then it's pure ineptness.

The fight was crap so hopefully no rematch.

Your right they should do it to a higher profile guy but it's a start. They almost did it to Ruenroeng in mid week. Klitschko and Mayweather are certainly the highest profile guys who excessively hold and hopefully we'll start seeing points deducted sooner rather than later.

For what its worth I'm not defending the atrocious card just looking for small positives

119-109 was dreadful but I think don't think the result was a robbery. Vasquez fought dreadfully over the second half, the worst I've seen from him, and clearly struggled with Bey's speed. There were too many rounds in which neither guy had a clear edge for me to call this a robbery.

Question in regards to the holding ..... Did Brook hold excessively against Porter?

Porter did a fair bit of holding in the latter part of that fight.

Early on, yes he did. Strangely in that fight Porter did a lot late on. Both should have had points taken for it.

This. No question that 119-109 (11-1 Bey) card was bs, but the other two cards had it close & were split between the two guys (7-5 Vasquez, 7-5 Bey). The fight was close not one sided imho. I mean ffs there wasn't a whole lot happening to suggest anything CLEARLY happened except it CLEARLY bored the f#ck outta people.

Just watched this fight. Pretty much nearly fell asleep, such an awful fight. Somebody please tell me vasquez isnt that boring in every fight. Im sure they said something at the start about his fights being dull. I had it 6 rounds a piece, good job hearn didnt pay a fortune to get him over here. Although harsh i dont have sympathy for such negative boring tactics, hopefully theres no talk of a rematch and bey can go on and have a decent fight with somebody else.

Political card. Hoyle should be ashamed. I think Vazquez should appeal and make people from the IBF watch the fight for themselves.

I cant decide whether i have sympathy for Miguel or not
imo it was a robbery but boxing wont exactly suffer becuase of it
now that Miguel doesnt have a belt i doubt he will get a decent fight ever again
