Kenny Bayless, who was predictably strict, was the ref in the rematch and that did not affect the outcome that nearly everyone believed to be inevitable, which was another victory for Mayweather Jr.

Maidana couldn't adapt to Mayweather's style, so he repeatedly fouled and deserved to lose... by a proverbial country mile!

a boxer + ref against 1 boxer...totaly unfair

i mean win or lose, i dont care, i am no mayweather, but also no maidana fan.

boxing is outside and inside boxing, and sometimes when boxer clinch, than the ref should step in and break, but most of the time, the boxer should get out of the clinch either via movemant or punch out. i mean thats boxing. but ref only letting box from outside is only one half of boxing. like i said 50/50, one half of boxing is inside the other outside.

exactly. because maidana would have had a chance landing body punches, like in round 3 or 4, i am not sure, which round it was, but maidana got upclose and landing solid shots and maidana got power. so if maidana comes in for 10 rounds and goes at you and floyd cant always move, because running 12 rounds is exhausting, so maidana would have landing quality body shots, slowing down floyd and you exactly right, it would have changed everything.

If they ever do fight, it would be a clean fight. Both can be successful fighting from a distance. Floyd uses his elbow/forearm to create space, not with intent to hurt. Take close up fighting, low blows, arm twisting, tackling, rabbit punches, head butts, and double leg takedowns away from Maidana, and he has nothing. Manny is not anywhere near Maidana's style in any way.
