Ioka wins by UD
Ioka looked good, nothing more. Shaky or rusty performance, hard to tell. He showed glimpses of his former self pre Ruenroeng in offensive sequence mixing to the liver well and showing fluid combos. Carillo was awkward and aggressive. THrew some aggressive power punches in combos. Ioka got hit more than he should have but more importantly, he sometimes looked slow or hesitant... probably results of the Ruenroeng fight or lack of focus...

Miyazaki's KO of Tobida was great.

RE Ioka I though he started fer apprehensively though by round 7 he began to warm to the task and had it been a 12 rounder I'd not have been shocked to have seen Carrillo stopped. A good result but he shouldn't be thinking about a world title next time out.
