People go to Adelaide to sleep

Thats the general consencus , But its like any city , it is what you make it ,, If you want to go for a nice meal , theres places to go , leisurly ride around the Barrossa or Vale wine regions , tasting wine , eating good food , lots of places to go , if your young theres plenty of nightlife , if your a church goer , , seems to be one on every corner , . If you choose to you can drink and party 24 hours a day . Its like any city , just on a smaller scale .

But still a nice place , for a holiday , I always loved Perth but found it was just too far from the rest of the world for my liking ,

I seen in the paper today that he suffered a 12 inch wound, the bloke was clearly trying to kill him

I think he'd have hit him in the head if he was trying to kill him

Lets not forget that the scar we see will probably be a dam site bigger than the initial injury. The surgeon has to give himself room to approximate vessels and nerves and muscles.

Its a good sign that they closed the wound straight away. It shows the wound was clean and the surgeon did the work required. A delayed primary suture would have been timely and messy. Hope kell stays free from infection.

I read the interview that Kell gave to the Mail on Saturday (Daily Mail), and he sounds like he's been unlucky. I know he was hardly going to say otherwise but still.... I've nothing against the guy boozing 'til 6am, he's done his work and alcohol can make you a bit like that. Needs to be a bit more selective though with who he hangs around with, moreso with a young family. I hope he makes a full recovery but I can't see him being as sharp as he was, but I would love to be wrong about that!!

Without tryin to sound disrespectful , I think you will be wrong , I've never been chopped with a sword , or a hatchet , but never the less have been cut from groin to knee and veins removed (heart sugery ), The tenderness slah funny feelings or lack of sensitivity have been there , BUT it never affected my mobility , simply becuse it never dione major nerve damage .

His surgeons have said there is NO nerve damage , so i doubt it will be a big issue

no nerve damage is a big and false call. No major nerve damage is probably more likely.

I didn't think you were being disrespectful at all mate...........Kell talked about numbness in the piece I read. Don't have the quote to hand. I don't think he'll get full sensitivity to the area - how that will affect a fighter though I don't know. Be a pity if he and Khan weren't able to get a big UK proper fight on.

I think the reason we never got to the bottom of this is because Brook didn't want to get to the bottom of this and wanted it to go away if you know what I mean. His story certainly looked suspect at best and potentially missing out some major details. I really think the guy who did it would be pretty easy to track down if Brook wanted to pursue it.

It must have been either drugs or bum banditry. Either way no way an "attempted murder" just gets dropped like that if Brook was not inent on letting it drop.

I don't know much about it but wasn't there an ambulance called to the address? Then there was a statement saying the police couldn't locate the address where the attack took place?

Also witnesses saying Kel was talking to this guy all night but then he couldn't recall his name to the police?

Just very strange.

Why's that Mate?

I wouldn't be too shocked either way. I just know that Brooks a party nutter and people do crazy shite on the nose candy.

If I remember Kels story at the time he'd only met the bloke that night. Still you could be right. Doesn't mean he doesn't want to grass though.

For all we know the bloke might have been taken care of already :maybe:
