Is Groves using a lot of steam?

He certainly looked like he stumbled forward.Boxing Prospect wrote:Certainly thought saw, could have been feet I guess. Halling was just going on about Groves landing at the time...lefty wrote:Was it me or did Groves just get wobbled momentarily there?!

too much head hunting by Groves, Rebrasse has long body to work on
Re: The official boxrec RBR thread 20/09/2014
I dont think Groves is boxing that intelligently to be honest.

Groves looking knackered walking back to his corner at the end of round 6

That band is annoying , who thought that would be a good idea ?

Groves just doesn't look powerful.
maybe its the change in training or maybe he's just not setting them up very well.

Sorry for bringing this back up but Groves's career stalled as soon as he split with Booth!
Re: The official boxrec RBR thread 20/09/2014
any updates on etches/galahad?
Re: The official boxrec RBR thread 20/09/2014
Any chance of a score card? Can't get to see it and it could be a shutout either way from what info being posted.
Cheers chaps

Round 5 and 6 were competitive
Round 7 was close
I'd give round 8 to Rebrasse
Watt and Halling have it a shut out, I could see 4-4 if this was in France...

its a pity the French lad hasnt got a punch. could be interesting if he had some power

Re: The official boxrec RBR thread 20/09/2014
It's good enough from Groves. It's a complete shut out upto now against a European Champion. It'd be a bit unfair to expect much more. A bit more leg movement side to side from groves would be nice, getting hit a little too easily for me.

I dont get what the French bloke is waiting for? the decision isnt going to go his way so why not at least have a go for a round or 2.
Re: The official boxrec RBR thread 20/09/2014
I'm first to criticise Watt for jumping on a side and sticking with it but I'd have to agree that there's a case here for Groves being 10-0 up here. His jab & workrate have given him the edge in most (if not all rounds). Rebrasse just hasnt done enough and hasn't upped the pace as Groves has started to slow.
Re: The official boxrec RBR thread 20/09/2014
Cheers lads getting worried from critiques. Like Georgea lot but sounds like he needs a strategic rethink of training from what I'm seeing on here.
