I personally don't think he is ready for Quigg or Frampton just yet, but he isn't far off.
He looked good last night but I don't think he should switch to southpaw so much as he is far more effective in the orthodox stance.

I agree with this. When he had the other kid in trouble he seemed to lack the ability to fire out really spiteful punches.

Galahad does a lot very well.

He's not as quick as Frampton, and not as big and Powerful as Quigg, but he seems more fluid than both and doesnt seem to be lacking much.

Whether he has the X factor tomake it big at the top level is still to be seen but i believe he's only 1 or 2 fights away from entering the conversation.

His previous 3 fights until last night were all for vacant belts against ok opposition,Dickens for the British,Prado for the European then Mundraby for the Commonwealth,he's defintely got all the hallmarks of a great fighter but he should be making a few defences of his European or Commonwealth belts that he still owns,to get that experience that Frampton and Quigg has

Thing is there is nothing for those titles available hence why the opponents he fought for them were really poor. Jazza Dickens is still his toughest fight by miles. Not his fault though and last night was a late replacement as well. He should have been fighting Quigg but it's obvious Hearn sees it as too much of a risk. Just needs to keep improving his fan base and fight guys in the top 10 of the organisations to improve his rankings and test him.

Regarding all these fighters fighting each other, TV contracts are the stumbling block - the boxers would all fight each other tomorrow, if it was that easy

I have Frampton slightly ahead of KG but KG would beat Quigg IMO

Did what he was supposed to last night, the Brazilian kid could of bailed out but showed heart to get through to the end.
Still think Galahad needs a couple more tests before Quigg or Frampton. But if a great offer came through he'd take it to fight them now.
If I was Quigg or Frampton I'd fight Galahad sooner rather than later.
I would pick both to beat Galahad at this point, but give the Sheffield boxer another good year and it might change.

Quigg needs to show he is at that level his team says he is at. We can evaluate Galahad later and compare. Frampton is hands down the best, completely different level to the three of them.

I think that Barry could do with a few good European-level opponents to defend that title of his. Maybe a couple of fights against Jeromy Parodi & Stephane Jamoye could be good tune-ups for him. The Kid is doing well, I just wouldn't rush it too quickly. A couple of home fights against these sort of guys would be the further boosts he would need to gain in popularity and confidence.

In all honesty he's a talented boxer though. I think he'll go far, I just don't think that he is ready to mix with the likes of Quigg, Frampton or Santa Cruz just yet.
