Is this a record

Post by Broomhall »

On the show at Dudley, Friday 19th of the four bouts 3 of them featured a boxer called Ryan, and in one of them both of the boxers where called Ryan. Out of 8 boxers on the show four where named Ryan. Nightmare in the dressing room "time to glove up Ryan, no not you Ryan, I mean Ryan, no not that Ryan, the Ryan over there, no not that one....oh forget it..."

Is Ryan like an English version of Mohammed in the Midlands?

Maybe Ryan is popular in Dudley. Ryan Aston was on this card. Any results?

Dudley is in the black country not Birmingham.

Come on it's 2014, no excuse for inaccuracies like that. :shame:

No Brummies in Dudley :TU:

Aston won in the 4th, theres been a fair bit of media stuff over the last few days locally re: Aston v Welborn.

There was a peice leading upto this fight in the local paper where when Aston was asked about the possible fight with Welborn he said he was after bigger.

Then a few days later a peice Welborn saying hes ranked above Aston and was not happy with Astons comments. Said he would be the only one he'd drop down to Midlands Area level for and called him out.

Would be a good fight and generate good interest locally atleast.

There was also an exhibition bout on the bill..........but that didn't involve anyone called Ryan, sorry!
