Taking my nephew to this one will it be a safe bill to go to??

Would there be much chance to get him a couple of autographs etc??.

I go regularly and i wont lie i've seen quite a few punch ups there.

It's luckily never happened were i've been sat but it does happen.

The trouble with going to live boxing events is knobheads have all day to get pissed and lemo'd in town before going to the show and by 9 oclock think they're hard cases themselves.

You can take your drinks to your seats in the echo too which if i'm being honest does more bad than good........aside from that i love going the echo to watch the boxing.

i've been to the MEN and you had to drink in the concourses there, so when I turned up at Sheffield last year I was staggered to see people freely taking their wobbly plastic pint pots back to their seats.
You do get some utter morons who seem to drink to oblivion. What is it with these people??? I think all venues that allow the consumption of alcohol in the actual arena are a disgrace. I don't think that's too harsh a word.
In Sheffield at the Khan fight there was loads of goading and about 5 times affray of varying degrees broke out within my own or an adjoining block - and I was up in the Gods. What happens then is that because of the size of the place it takes them a minute to get "spotted" and about another couple of minutes for the "security" (read "stewards") to arrive on the scene.
In all honesty you've only got to worry if you get caught in the middle of these morons - who generally aren't worth a nut anyway. But I wouldn't take a woman - and I certainly wouldn't take a child. Sad but true.

If you are hoping to see a world title fight, email the promoter and ask if defending champ Tete has signed the contract yet.
