Fights already finished and I know the result, but I have Macklin 2 down after 4. His defence is non existent, he's trying to fight on the back foot with his left hand low and it doesn't suit him at all.

I agree. That seems to happen regularly when guys step down in level for stay-busy fights.

78-75 Yebes

Macklin was very poor, seemed to show the effects of what has been a horribly mismanaged career, the inactivity and constant changes in trainer and promotional team over the last few years were bound to take their toll eventually and it seems tonight was the night. The attempted change in style didn't help either, he needs to be coming forward behind the jab, hands high, putting the pressure on, working body and head in combinations, not fannying around on the back foot.

Another classic line from Nick Halling "I'll be astounded if it's close on the scorecards".

Ok.

How the hell has Martin Murray done that with his barnet?

I can't see where his fringe ends, he's managed to meld it into a great blob on the front of his head.

He seems like a nice fella generally but when he comes to boxing, he's a clueless pudendum.

They didn't show the announcement of the scorecards, just Macklin being announced as the winner. Halling and Watt were horrible in that fight, ignored a lot of what Yebes did and when Watt is saying that there's a few pick em rounds it's obvious who they should be scored to.

Close round = Yebes
Macklin's been poor in this round = Close
Macklin's looking better in this round = Macklin

A lot of people seem to think Quillin is shit. i rate him myself. i know he didnt look overly great against Rosado but I think he's a good fighter and possibly the best middleweight bar GGG.
