Yup, Scallum, your the name man when it comes to giving boxing advice..................two national titles Wow !!!! You never stepped a day in the ring, but you know it all !!!!!

I think at least for Amateur boxing road work is out of date, if you are fighting for 6-9 Minutes then its must better to do very intense sprints/hill sprints/step runs 3 times a week, than 5 miles f road work.

MY MISTAKE I THOUGHT THIS WAS CALLED RUNNING.

Got a kid who has won 2 National Gold Medals this year, has not ran at all this entire year. Running is outdated imo


When I was training for my last fight (3x2), I was doing conventional boxing training at a Boxing Gym 3-4 times per week, and on the days I wasn't there I did some circuits with a personal trainer at another gym, I felt very fit in my fight.
