KING ARTHUR wins a easy one.

Post by MDG »

Arthur Abraham wins a easy one for a change. Won every round unless you want to give a symphony round or two to Paul Smith. Smith was no walk over by any means, he was in the fight and trying every round, but he was just getting edged out each round. Smith is a much better fighter than he might appear on paper and might have won a title tonight if Abraham would have slowed down. Abraham didn't show any signs of age catching up tonight , in fact he seemed to be in better shape. He was able to press the action anytime he wanted . Smith has a great defense, and he wasn't about to open up for AA to tee off on him. I can see Smith winning a title in the future, AA just wasn't going to give it up just yet. Arthur came out without a mark on him tonight , while Smith looked the part of someone that may have gotten mugged. Neither fighter was ever seriously hurt, although Smith was battered around the ring a bit at times.

Anyone that thought Smith may have won the fight tonight, should just watch boxing and enjoy the show and keep there thought to themselves. Or the men in white coats will be looking for them. lol

While I agree with you, that is a pathetic effort at trolling.

Well I think its more pathetic that the other post headline is a absolute disgrace. But its out there for everyone to see, and how many people really read all the post to a subject. It like let me get down first and most people that don't have a mind of there own, ( which is the biggest % of readers) will know that Smith got robbed in Germany.

'unless you want to give a symphony round or two to Paul Smith.'

Obvious troll post, but this bit is fantastic.

Trolling or not. The initial post is spot on imo.

116-113 AA.

Neither man did a lot, but i thought AA did enough most of the time. i dont think the 117-111 cards were to far out as There were many a tight round. Smith just didnt throw enough to make it closer or get the Win in the end, and you'd have to say most of that was down to the (albeit small) volume of AA's work and likely the power.

Smith did better than i thought, but he's not ever coming as close to a world title again.

That bit was the main bit I agreed with too... would have loved a bit of boxing to orchestral music thrown in here and there.

Yep I'm a brit and had Abraham by about 5 I think... still, begs the question how he has a world title? What happened to the destroyer and heavy hitter Abraham was going to be? Smith isn't massive and I'm not sure is even much above British level, but Abraham didn't look like much. Elsewhere George Groves has been slammed for not beating European champs with KO's, but he was better than Abraham against a fighter a level or two above Smith.

I wish AA would retire.......the dude should be irrelevant but his team somehow get him title fights he "can" win.

Didn't watch his latest fight....heard he struggled with a dude that has been ko'd twice by novice pros.
