Anyone know much about him? Former US amateur super-heavyweight champion and went 19-0 (18 ko's) before his career went downhill. I think he served time for murder which was the catalyst for his downfall, anyone remember if he was any good?

Maybe he was but not necessarily. He was apparently tipped to be the next big thing in the HW division when he turned pro. Most HWs are fed bums at the start and he knocked his way through them pretty quick. After the prison sentence in 1996 his career went downhill but that doesn't mean he was always "pants"polecateddy wrote:Record suggests he was pants.
