Will you Buy the PPV - Froch vs Cleverly?
Will you Buy the PPV - Froch vs Cleverly?
Let's get a boycott on this fight, make a stance to Eddie and Sky!
Re: Will you Buy the PPV - Froch vs Cleverly?
I voted no. I'd watch it if it was on Sky Sports, but not worth spending extra money to watch it.

Some poll that is when the only options are ones to support your argument and so cannot possibly give a true result of the fans on this forums feelings.
How about
No, because I do not want to and am not that interested.
Or No, because I am going out and have other plans
or just simply NO!

Fair point, plenty of people won't be actually taking a stand when they don't buy it.tobyh5 wrote:Some poll that is when the only options are ones to support your argument and so cannot possibly give a true result of the fans on this forums feelings.

I still voted No though, as I will be boycotting

I'll watch it in the pub,not paying 15 nicker for a glorified british title fight.
Re: Will you Buy the PPV - Froch vs Cleverly?
Bad decision by sky. Not worthy of ppv.
They will try and hype the sh1t out of this but i think it will bomb in terms of box office sales.

Didn't B o x n a t i o n show the first fight free?
I think it will be a cracking fight. I've been waiting for the rematch for a long time.
I'd rather watch a competitive fight than a set up.
And Tony and Nathan lost recently but to two of the most in-form fighters in world boxing...no disgrace in that.

Re: Will you Buy the PPV - Froch vs Cleverly?
A PPV bout is between Kovalev and Stephenson not Cleverley and Bellew, though Kovalev v Adonis would most likely be seen on B allegedly.
Re: Will you Buy the PPV - Froch vs Cleverly?
should be a few more poll options
Where is the option for - No I won't pay £15.00 to watch it but I may try and find some sh1te stream on the PC just to watch it because I'd still like to watch it but the fight itself doesn't justify PPV and the undercard will be stacked high with shite fights

Not paying for it, I'll stream it.
Re: Will you Buy the PPV - Froch vs Cleverly?
Big mistake by all concerned. They've handed FW a lifeline. He'll fight back now throwing this debacle back in their faces at every opportunity. I would hope that OUR magazines , Boxing News and Boxing Monthly get behind the fans and make a comment in support.

Froch v Cleverly...?
Re: Will you Buy the PPV - Froch vs Cleverly?
I might do that if a pub purchased it.chiggsy wrote:I'll watch it in the pub,not paying 15 nicker for a glorified british title fight.
I'd rather spend £30 watching it in the pub, then £15 giving it to Sky. It's more the principle of the thing. And, after Hearn getting greedy, I'd rather the publican get my money than Matchroom/Sky.
Re: Will you Buy the PPV - Froch vs Cleverly?
I won't be buying it. Neither is going to go too far at cruiser and I sincerely believe Cleverly is just in it for the money.
Re: Will you Buy the PPV - Froch vs Cleverly?
froch cleverly? news to me this?
Re: Will you Buy the PPV - Froch vs Cleverly?
I think it's silly of Cleverly to have signed a fight with Froch. I mean, granted, Froch is in a lower weight division, but I feel Cleverly should be concentrating on Bellew, before signing other fights.J wrote:froch cleverly? news to me this?

Froch vs Cleverly?
I think it is very unlikely to happen. Froch has never (to the best of my knowledge) given any inclination that he would leave the Super Middleweight Division. And Cleverly has just signed to fight Bellew at Cruiserweight (two weights above Froch).
This fight is a non-starter if we are to be honest.

I think you like beer too much; Cleverley hasn't signed to box Froch - the topic headline is wrong that's all.ILikeBeer wrote:I think it's silly of Cleverly to have signed a fight with Froch. Either you haven't got the sarcasm, or this is a double bluff sarcastic post.palooka wrote:I think you like beer too much; Cleverley hasn't signed to box Froch - the topic headline is wrong that's all.ILikeBeer wrote:I think it's silly of Cleverly to have signed a fight with Froch.
