JAMIE SANIGAR
DAN GUTHRIE V MT GILLICK
can you enlighten us on the chances of this match up as it seems gillick is more than willing to be put in the firing line.
what are the rest of your thoughts on this?
GUTHRIE (3-1-1)
GILLICK (0-0-0)
its always dodgy fighting a debutant.
discuss........

To Mr Gillick,
I suggest you get your manager whom I believe is Mickey Helliett to give us a call. My advice is let him doing the managing/matchmaking and you stick to the boxing. Never like to see a boxer taking to much on his plate it never seems to work.
Firstly I can't understand why particularly you want to box Guthrie out of all the Super-Middles and that you have been looking for a match since March?
Also I presume you live in Scotland I thought Plymouth would have been a little far to come for a 4 rounder?

I do think Jamie is right here, cannot your promoter/manager get you a couple of trial horses before a tough assignment against a hungry ambitious fighter.
Your just embarking, you don't want to make an early mistake. Not saying you cannot beat Guthrie - never seen either of you fight proffesionally, so I cannot judge. But I think you should feel your way into it first, you might be a little rusty - cause you've been waiting a while.
Why not a Howard Clarke or something, just so you get the confidence booster.

I understand your frustrations and I admire your honesty.
If you are fit, your medicals are all done and your manager thinks your ready to box then i'm sure its only a matter of time until you get your chance especially being based in London.
Like I said get mickey to give us a call and we will see what we can do.
I notice your from Coatbridge I know there is a stable of fighters from that town including Ricky Burns. How come you did not turn pro with them?
All the best
Jamie

Gissa shout if you do make it down to this side of the world mate. Love to meet you, and I live just down the road now my girl's at Bath Uni.I might make the trip over to watch some bouts in Bristol area, my cousin lives in Devon so could make my way from there and crash at his.
Mind you, I've normally got a bloody gig to cover whenever there's boxing on. But I'll try...

IVE NOT GONE ANYWHERE!
I HAVNT BEEN OFFERED ANY FIGHT WITH DAN GUTHRIE SO UNTIL I HAVE I CANT BE CONSIDERED AS BEING IN HIDING.
IM NOT SHYING AWAY FROM ANYONE AND AS I SAID IF IT WAS OFFERED I WOULD SERIOUSLY CONSIDER AS IM SITTING ONLY A FEW POUND ABOVE 12 STONE AND WOULD HAVE NO PROBLEMS BEING FIT.
DOES THAT ANSWER ANYTHING?
