Another pussy! I wouldn't be saying anything about the guy had he not asked to fight Korobov for the belt then backed out. If you have no intention of fighting someone it's best if you keep your mouth shut and don't call them out.

... and it happened again. Now Saunders prefered to fight Eubank Jr. instead of the title fight against Korobov. Next candidate is Lee.

other than an SD over vanes, who has andrade fought?
we're coming up on a year now with his only defense against
brian rose, who wasn't even a real top 20. i was hoping we would
at least see andrade in against clottey and i was surprised when he
volunteered against korobov. turns out it was bs. he wants to talk
about being world class but doesn't want to fight anyone.

korobov has a typical problem in this business, being more trouble
than he's worth. if he could draw a crowd he might have more options
but as a b-side he has to take what he can get.

I bet Korobov could draw a pretty good crowd if he had a title fight in Russia. The problem for his opponents then will be to get a decision.

I guess I don't blame him if they won't give him anything close to what they were offering Quillin. The whole offer surprised me anyway, since he has not even fought at the weight yet. Established Middle weights should get the first shot there.

I do like his idea of him vs Kirkland on Canelo's under-card with the agreement that the winner gets Canelo next. Not going to happen though imo.

He has also expressed interest in fighting Lara. That would be a good fight to see where he is really at.

He has also expressed interest in fighting Korobov and asked WBO about it, which is a reason why they allowed it. Then he backed up. The same will happen with his interest to Lara.

He backed up because they insulted him with the offer. Like it or not boxers do care about money, and once you get to be a champion you expect more. He did say if they offered the same amount they offered Quillin he definitely would have moved up in weight. I take it you didn't listen to the interview.

Will probably get more money for a fight with Alvarez if that ends up being an opportunity. Korobov is fighting Andy Lee next.

Who pays the fighters that fight in any boxing match? It seems Andrade is co-promoted between Star boxing and Banner promotions, but since Arum is the promoter of Korobov, I'm sure he had the most to do with it since he was upset that Andrade would be in against Korobov. He got his way in the end, and Andrade stepped aside. Who knows what exactly transpired. Did Arum pay Andrade step aside money, or did Andrade just say he won't fight if he isn't getting what Quillin was offered? Quillin was offered $1.4 million. Andrade did say the money had to be there if he was going to go up in weight to fight.

Like any current champ, for them to go up in weight for a championship fight, it has to be worth it ($) to them. Andrade is no different. Korobov isn't a world beater by any means, and I would guess Andrade would be favored if they did fight.

Quillin was supposed to get big bucks due to the purse bid. Andrade could let thing go to a purse bid too. Of course, it wouldn't be 1.4 mil to Andrade, but if it was too low, he could get out then.

Korobov will fight Andy Lee in December for the vacant title, with the winner fighting next year against the Nov. 29-winner between Billy Joe Saunders and Chris Eubank Jr.

We don't know who the winner will be fighting against, because Golovkin will want to grab that belt too.

The deal for Saunders to step aside gives him the shot after he beats Eubank Jr, there's no way that Fwank VVarren would support the request for Lee-Korobov without Saunders being first in line afterwards.

Saunders can easily lose to Eubank Jr, so the deal will be off.

Then Eubank Jr steps into his place if he wants the shot, the deal between VVarren and Arum is for Lee-Korobov, either on the Timothy Bradley undercard, or in Dublin, with the winner of Saunders-Eubank Jr fighting the winner, it's effectively a final eliminator.

... and you believe that Arum will stand by his promises if he has an idea that another option is more beneficial for him ? Unless he committed in writing, that commitment isn't worth much.

I'm sure they'll have it in writing, Fwank VVarren isn't stupid enough to get done over like that. Plus it will be agreed with the WBO as well.
