Official boxrec RBR thread - Leeds bill 4th October

Post by jameswilson »

'Marching on together' already been used in Sky's build up. Unsure whether I'm gonna be more irritated by commentary or listening to that during the ring walk.

Halling was the one to blame last week (I thought) and he's kept his place.

Yes, Halling was the main problem last week. Watt seemed slightly biased but Halling was way over the top.

They are in Leeds & the headliner is a Leeds Utd fan isnt that to be expected?

It's to be expected, doesn't mean I want to hear it though.

He seems a good lad does Brian Rose, but that was a total waste of time.

I almost felt like Watt was doctoring his card slightly to compensate for Halling so as not to make him look too bad. I think round 11 was a clear Abraham round, he came out at the start and landed about a 5 or 6 punch combo to Smith's body, the rest of the round was even then Smith landed 2 shots and Halling went ballistic. Watt ended up scoring it to Smith. I don't think he would have had Halling not been there.

Good luck. I'v got 25 quid each on Callum Smith round 1 and round 2 (so essentially the bet is 50quid on him in the first 2 at 2.25.)

And 25 quid on Warrington and Smith by stoppage with Nurse and Burns winning by any method at 3.10.

A draught blew through the arena and blew the Argentinian down three times resulting in a first round stoppage..
