If not Nelson, what about Gallagher? Obviously you've have to forget the Crolla fight.[/quote]
Burns would just be a stepping stone for Crolla now, exactly what nobody wants him to be, so the move to Gallagher would make sense. Anthony would just have to settle for the lesser satisfaction of beating Burns up in sparring every other day.

It's impressive how Josh has transformed into such an attraction, he wasn't marked out as one on the way up and if my memory is correct he was small-time in terms of promotion until last year. A year ago he was fighting in a function room at Elland road. Looking at the crowd tonight, something has gone very right for him over the past year. Other promoters must look at this and think "how the fxxk did I not sign this guy up ?"

I always wonder how certain fighters end up with crowds like this coming out to watch them.

Josh personally sells them by the bucket load, I am just amazed at how quickly this has happened. Like I said, a year ago it was a function room, tonight it is a massive crowd in an arena. It usually takes years to build a following like this. The tie-in with Leeds United is very clever, I would not want to be in an arena with all those fans if Josh lost.
Burns has made some terrible choices. It's a shame because he's a nice guy. His career has been ruined in a little over a year.
yup. I don't know if you heard fw's interview when the court case was first being mooted, he was in bristling good, and frankly very entertaining form. He described a certain individual, 'burns' half-manager... A stupid man, and i mean a stupid man' (word stupid emphasised dripping with contempt)
i thought at that point it was all on the way down for burns
Warrington looking excellent in the 1st round, very busy and landing plenty of jabs and straight rights. Got in some good body work as well. The Italian looking too slow at the moment.

The lawsuit has been hanging over Ricky for more than a year. It has to be negatively affecting him. Still being allegedly owed 200k by somebody won't help either.
I was just looking at Diele and his alias is 1/2 Gancio which apparantly means Hook. Not sure what to make of that. Is his signature punch a half hook?! : /
