I was taking the piss, Paul seems a nice guy but i'm with you he never deserved the shot in the first place, the last interview I saw with Joe Gallagher he said he keeps going on at Eddie to break the bank and get AA to fight in Liverpool, if every world champion gave a rematch to a voluntary who put in a brave effort they wouldn't have time to fight there mandatories.

He'll have to be careful. A loss will mean the end of his mandatory status. The IBF Rules also state that he can't fight 60-days prior to the possible mandatory date so he's got until December 30th to get one in.
