Remember the last time you was adamant about someone getting knocked out? Kev Mitchell in his last fight :D

Haha true! Saying that though, up to the point of the stoppage, who was winning that fight?

Why are you picking Eubanks, lefty? What gives him the edge in your mind? I like Billy Joe and don't particularly want to see an upset.

It was definitely close, I thought Mitchell needed the KO or a KD to win at the time.

Whilst he has fought a who's who of latvian builders and plumbers and what have you - personally I see quite a bit of talent there. I think he's faster than Billy, I think he hits harder than Billy does, even though it's a bit against sub-par opposition and I have the feeling he can take a shot well aswell. Also, whilst it's just sparring, I was impressed with how he was able to absorb it against Froch and then proceed to walk Carl down and put it on him. Apparantly he gave Groves a fair bit of trouble when they sparred aswell. These are naturally bigger guys than him aswell. It is just sparring though like I said. Anyway, rambling aside, yeah I just see a fair bit of talent there, possibly more so than Billy who is more proven and had all the amateur success. I'd imagine either Billy will outbox him over 12 OR he'll get stopped and I have a feeling it will be the latter.

I think he gassed to an extent aswell as he carries quite a bit of muscle by the looks of things. He also seemed to have a bit of a dodgy chin himself which I didnt account for in my prediction haha.

Never really seen Mitchell's chin questioned. He took some big shots from Carl Johanneson and then stopped him. In fact he looked a surety to lose at times, til he turned the tables in some style.

Eubank must be very confident to be taking this fight. He's probably done well in sparring against better fighters than BJS both here and in America.

It's one of those fight for me where I won't be surprised if BJS boxes his head off and I won't be surprised if Eubank wins. Intriguing match up.

I think you could argue that his chin looked questionable against Katsidis and Burns, neither of whom tended to blow away opponents like they did to Mitchell.

Seems like a massive price to me when you consider John Ryder is 1/5 to beat Komitsky this weekend

think they were on about the American, just the way I read it I thought they meant KM. I saw the Burns stoppage on someone's mobile phone, but as for the fight at West Ham against Katsidis, I thought it looked like a case of a woefully under-prepared Mitchell. He said afterwards that domestic relationships/ sleep situations/ living arrangements were all massively tits-up. Whereas Katsidis brought his A game and did a highly professional job on him. I think that fight was won and lost before they both got in the ring to be honest.

That fight is off now, I would of had a bit on Khomisky (even though I think Ryder would just win on points)

Leave that price alone mate. Although its a good bet i think you will get better odds than that closer to the fight with people backing Eubank

I remember Eubank Jnr REALLY struggling with Terry Caruthers on of the Fury undercards on Channel 5.

Eubank couldn't put a dent in him and the match looked like a draw (I think Eubank got the nod by one point).

After that they dropped the level Eubank was facing and he started knocking out Lithuanian cabbies and looking imposing

I think BJS will win a wide decision

Despite having never fought a championship fight before i cant see Eubank Jr gassing coz he dictates his own pace usually and he seems too arrogant to let Saunders take the lead but i do think Billy Joe has to much ring savvy for him and i think we might see a bit of devil from Saunders which we dont always see coz he does genuinly seem to hate Chris, could prove to be his undoing but im sure Jimmy Tibbs has alraedy adressed that

BJS wins a UD,Saunders probably has more 12 round experience domestically than anyone in the country and Eubank hasnt even fought 10 rounds, its too much of a gap to bridge IMO,couple that in with Billy Joe's amateur pedigree and Chris's lack of one,i reckon Chris has only a punchers chance

I still can't believe this fight will happen until they are both in the ring and even then I will be nervous about them tripping before the first bell.

I'm not convinced BJS is either though

All opinions I guess, I've gone for a Eubank win and i'll stick to that

May the best man win!!

This isn't a good price at all. It'll be a close one I think. If I favour anyone it's Eubank.

Jr isn't a puncher, he just appears that way because he has been knocking out Latvian milk men recently. When he fought Brits he weren't hurting anyone. Bjs has everything over jr. That's if the fight happens though

That's exactly how I see it.
