I think Soliman takes over in the second half to retain his title.

Can the person who voted for Taylor by KO explain why? It could happen, but Soliman is durable and Taylor hasn't looked good in years.

Soliman on points for me and I'd be curious to know why someone thinks Taylor will KO Soliman too. Not saying they aren't entitled to that opinion. Just be interested to know why they think it??

I think Sam will wear him down and get a rare(ish) stoppage. Taylor's punch resistance isn't all that

I don't see how Soliman is washed up. He's looked rejuvenated over the last couple years if anything and I think he's one of those who hasn't aged as fast as most do.

Also, someone posted these fairly recent videos of Taylor over in the CS.

Shocking stuff. He used to come across as a nice, level-headed guy.

Pretty scary. Definitely not a good look.
Those tough fights against Pavlik, Froch and Abraham have taken their toll.
His punch resistance is shot.
Soliman on points.

Soliman hasn't lost a fight in six and a half years.

In that time he has fought ten 12 round fights. Five of which have gone the full 12 rounds and three others that have gone 9 rounds or more.

You assessment of Soliman is quite puzzling really.

Why on earth, after suffering brain bleeds, is Taylor being allowed to fight?

I doubt if Soliman has even been in better nick than he is right now.

Sam may force a stoppge - with all of Taylor's previous health issues I can see the ref stopping it if JT is taking too many head shots......That said, one punch from Taylor could end it!! soliman by stoppage.

Good call on the ref. He'd be less than human if he wasn't keen to save Taylor from a hiding with Taylor's health issues in the back of his mind.

Long undercard prior to the Soliman vs Taylor fight.

B.J. Flores has already won his bout by KO.

Teddy Atlas had it 59-56 for Soliman half way through. But things haven't progressed well from there. Soliman will need to pull something out of the fire here.

Really devastated for Sam. The injury aside Sam just didn't seem himself and Taylor fought very very well forcing Sam to be the aggressor.
If there are some decent money fights out there for Sam, I say go for it. If not at 42 and many many bouts it may be his time to walk away. The knee didnt look good and a possible recon would see him out until if was 42.

Sam was willing and even on one leg as courageous as they come. But it just wasn't to be. Hopefully the $1m payday we kept hearing about was what he is actually getting paid.
