I really doubt channel 5 are going to have it on longer than 2 hours, once you take out the breaks you get on there every 5 minutes how much boxing are you going to get.

They'll probably show the Murray fight and the hall fight, depending on the length of those Blackwell will be very lucky to get any screen time.

This means ill be missing out on my favorite south African Hekki Budler lol.

I was disappointed when seeing this was on channel 5 really, the last two shows over there that have been on allegedly have been really good, and you cant beat allegedly coverage.
Understand what you are saying and I do agree to an extent but with the Liverpool card this was never going to be on allegedly so I'm glad its been picked up atleast.

Also worth remembering those adverts are whats in effect paying the £12 allegedly fee / £20 odd Sky Sports fee that you may pay. As said above boxing on terrestrial tv should be supported.

I like Bernstein

...................................

@Magwitch.......ok, I'll admit that he's ok in very small doses and he does seem to care about what he's doing.

But there's something very Coney Island or Atlantic City about Al.....if he could wear a Gold Lamé suit then he would and there must surely be some overpowering eau du cologne and a medallion the size of a dinner plate lurking around their somewhere!!

Great news, hope it gets promoted and gets good viewing figures. Without the sky juggernaut these bills can go unnoticed by general sport fans ...perhaps one of the fighters needs to flip a table or twin in the build up!!

Great weekend of boxing. Looking at the ratings on barb the Kid Galahad fight didn't even rate in the top 30 on channel 5 less than 720k viewers so fair play to channel 5 for sticking with the boxing.
