exactly.
what we know is that neither Kessler nor Carl Froch can beat the other man without getting leathered himself in the process. It's pointless. Kessler did Carl fair and square, then Carl did Kessler fair and square and now Kessler hasn't been fighting much these last couple of years.....it's not exactly screaming to be made is it?
Personally I think Froch should retire as the champion that he is. He'd start favourite against Jimbo, but I still wouldn't call it a sure thing or an easy night's work.

I'm not too sure about that. Degale's started flashy and then been made to look a bit laborious in a couple of his Bluewater Channel 5 assignments. There was an American chap came over last year and put one right down his pipe when Degale was cruising. If Froch puts one on him like that the Fat Lady's gonna start to sing. Froch can break Degale's will if James gets dragged into a fight - which he probably would do sooner or later. I've absolutely no doubt at all that Degale can hit Froch with some pearlers, but when Froch hasn't gone anywhere those shots will take a lot out of Degale, imo, leaving him vulnerable. Sound familiar?

for 3 or 4 mil I think he might just do exactly that. It might be a relatively unbrutal affair for Froch, like his second Groves fight, but on the other hand it could be a toe to toe war. James Degale is a very good fighter on the up. Froch has already made a pile, which is why I believe he should walk away.

Haha yea I know what you mean but if degale boxes at his best he can beat any one at super middle, froch past his best now and can't see him beating degale if they fight

Yea mate if the money is right for froch he will get in the ring with him I think, but I don't think degale will get dragged into a fight he will boss him for 12 rounds

How the hell would Degale boss Froch for 12 rounds? I like both fighters but I'd be surprised if Degale has the engine/defense/chin to handle Froch! And we all know Degale will land clean on occasion, but does he have the power to even dent Froch? I doubt it personally.
I think DeGales chin will stand up to Carl. It's looked solid throughout his career and Carl has not suddenly turned into a murderous puncher overnight based on the Groves rematch.
It's a funny old thing when you think about it. Imagine being in the position where a guy is phoning you up saying "If you box James Degale you'll net a couple of million quid or more". Resisting that temptation must be difficult whoever you are and however much money you've got.
the angles of the punches account for a lot. Look at the way Degale took out Paul Smith. If he puts that kind of work together on Froch with his at times clumsy footwork, Froch will get dizzy. The only difference is you've got to knock Froch out twice to knock him out if you see what I mean. If Degale can get to him, look to pick his work, stand off when necessary and then come in again, he can definitely force a stoppage. It's a lot of ifs, but let's dispense with this notion that Froch is made of granite.

No can do sorry!
If a 2010 Kessler or a George Groves (kitchen sink included) can't stop Froch, I personally doubt that Degale could. I also don't see Degale "bossing" Froch for all 12 rounds. What I do see is Degale boxing well for the first few rounds before Froch eventually gets to him and stops him. OR Degale keeping it up for the whole fight and possibly winning a close decision. Froch's long jab could also be a factor, I think it's underrated.

I didn't hear that rumour. I find it slightly hard to believe. The second fight was hyped a lot more than the first.

Just watch froch not like he was degale will take him to school I like froch but can't see him getting anywhere with degale at all completely wrong for him
