So I have a question do Boxers pay their trainers and cut men with their money purses???
For example lets say a boxer gets a purse of about $$400,000 in a fight?
Does this mean he has to pay his trainers and cut men from the $400,000 or does the boxing promotion company pay the trainers meaning that when the contracts are present the promotion company pays the boxer's trainer and cut men.
I'm thinking that if my purse was $400,000 after taxes about 30% in taxes it will be about $280,000. I would then pay my trainer about $40,000 and cut men $30,000, which would leave me with about $210,000? I'm correct or wrong on this????

This thread is insulting. I've never seen a boxer with a purse. A man bag perhaps but a purse?! C'mon now.

should the 400k not be divided like this
25% manager 100k
10 training team 40k
leaving 260k to the fighter to be taxed on.....you cant expect the boxer to pay all taxes on the outgoing percentages
with a high tax rate say 40%
the fighter will prob walk away with 180k tops after tax but could have expenses , tv money , sponsorship etc added to his money

or sometimes the fighter just doesn't pay his team.
