Late 2014: Bernard Hopkins pulls out of the Kovalev fight, due an leg injury, takes a break & thinks about retirement. Felix Sturm pulls out of his fight with Stieglitz, to fight Taylor for the IBF title. Stieglitz will fight Abraham a 4th time instead. The results? Sturm disappoints once again, just like in his 2nd fight with Soliman, and loses a decision to Taylor. Abraham shows a glimpse of his prime, knocking out Stieglitz in 8 rounds, for his best performance since 2009.
Early 2015: Middleweight champion Taylor, gets the rematch with Supermiddle champion, Abraham! This time, Abraham hurt him, but lost his once feared punching power, and couldn't finish him. Taylor wins by Split Decision & is now Middleweight AND Supermiddleweight champion of the World!
Late 2015: Bernard Hopkins is healed, fighting one last time, wanting his revenge against Jermain Taylor in their 3rd fight! Taylor wins this fight by technical decision (injury by Hopkins) Hopkins retires, aswell as Floyd Mayweather, leaving Jermain Taylor as middleweight, supermiddleweight & lightheavyweight champion AND new P4P #1!
