Well relatively new anyway(published in November 1913).
Has anyone here seen a copy to review it here themselves?

Re: New-Joe Choynski Biography Book
I remember reading Jim J. Jeffries 1910 autobiography MY LIFE AND BATTLES.
He had a whole chapter written about his fight with Joe Choynski in 1897.
He wrote that Choynski hit him with the single most hardest punch
that he ever recieved in his career.
It was a right hand so hard that it sent part of his lip in between his teeth
and when he went back to his corner,
his cornerman had to cut part of his lip off to free it,otherwise he would have went into the next round fighting all puckered up.

Re: New-Joe Choynski Biography Book
I dont think that there is any truth to the rumour that back in the 1970's,
with the huge succus of Howard SacKler's smash Broadway play production of
THE GREAT WHITE HOPE,and the followup succesful movie starring James Earl Jones.
That another project was planned for a possible followup
and was to star actor James Cann as Joe Choynski
to be called
ONE TOUGH JEW.
