Props to Soliman for one of the most gracious post loss interviews I’ve ever heard. Despite an obvious leg injury, Sam made absolutely no excuses and was nothing but professional.

Sounds like Soliman got old overnight - he's 40 and it happens to fighters sometimes. He was never a particularly skilled or powerful guy, but fit, awkward and threw in high volume.

While I'd like to see GGG unify the belts, I DO NOT want to see him fight Taylor, that fight just sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. Let's hope than N'Dam gets his shot against Taylor.

I hope so too, but most likely, Quillin will get this belt and will keep avoiding GGG.

I said it before. Taylor IS shot indeed, but he isn't a bum. Soliman hasn't been anything special.

Now, Sturm will pull out of Stieglitz clash, and fight Taylor. Abraham will fight Stieglitz a 4th time.

Sturm will lose a decision to Taylor & Abraham KO's Stieglitz this time.

End of 2015, we will see Taylor vs Abraham II!

Taylor probably could have got even more value out of his jab. But he fought a good fight and deserved the win. Hard to say how much difference Soliman's knee injury made? It certainly didn't improve his chances.

I'm not sure if Soliman would've gone down once if it weren't for the leg injury, and barring the knockdown rounds I believe the judges had it 4-4 twice and 5-3 Soliman. That doesn't mean that he would've won the other rounds even without the injury, but I imagine that his chances would've been better. Then again, he wasn't fighting well even before the injury became obvious and it also seems like there is a high probability that he got old overnight. Some people called him a bum as if he generally performs as poorly as he did against Taylor, but I think that's very harsh and to me suggests that they haven't seen many of his past fights.

I think JT still has decent ability but the health issue remains. It seems like there's a good chance he'll fight Quillin and I don't see that ending well for him, especially since Quillin is heavy-handed but usually beats opponents over several rounds, often not finishing them quickly when they're hurt.

Quillin only fought remotely decent opponents in his last 5 fights, and stopped only one of them -- Guerrero. I don't count Rosado, because Rosado was never hurt and could actually win the fight if not that cut.

And look at all the knockdowns he's scored across those bouts. He puts guys down but he's not too good at putting them away, which means they get punched more.

Pretty sure it requires power to put guys on their asses. Paulie Malignaggi probably doesnt have 7 knockdowns in his career let alone one fight. And Rosado is a tough ass dude who Golovkin couldnt KO either. Both Quillin and GGG stopped him on cuts.
