which fight have you watched the most times ?
which fight have you watched the most times ?
occurred to me last night whilst watching Benn v Mcclellan that I must of seen that fight countless times over the years certainly more than any other fight, I just never tire of watching it in fact I might watch it again today seeing as I had to have it muted so the Mrs could watch x factor last night, so which fight floats your boat ?

foreman vs. lyle
Re: which fight have you watched the most times ?
Am assuming you guys watched those fights live on TV and have revisited them over the years, I was too young for Ali or foreman I spose remembering the atmosphere of the time has a lot to do with the fights we rematch, I was 23 when Benn fought Mcclellan and watched it in a pub with my mates what a night !
Re: which fight have you watched the most times ?
It might be Hopkins vs Trinidad, or Myweather vs Corrales. Masterclasses. I sometimes re watch wars but not too often. I've prob watched Pryor v Arguello 1 a lot. Duran v Dejesus and Hearns vs Duran.

I watched Foreman vs Lyle in real time. Since then I have gone back numerous times. Like a scene from an old John Wayne movie it was! Ok....A John Wayne move with a diverse cast might be a better way to put it.

Tyson v Holyfield first fight. Also Benn v. McClellan.
For shorter fights I often watch Hearns v. Duran and Hearns v. Barkley first fight.

Have watched Tyson v Douglas a fair bit, thought Douglas looked a million dollars that night plus the shock value of seeing Tyson humbled makes for great viewing although the British commentary with Colin hart is a bit annoying.

I've probably watched Calzaghe vs Lacy about 30 times, sometimes I just get in the mood to see a one sided beatdown.

Don't bring this fight up. Lost more money on that fight than all the other fights I've bet on combined. lol.
HOWEVER...there is a silver lining.........I became a believer, and never bet against him again. And won more money on his fight with Hopkins than all the other bets I've layed out combined.
Quite a bit on Jones as well. I recognized his talent.
But damn......he almost gave me 5 heart attacks. 1. when he beat Lacy so bad, and I lost a heavy bet. 2,3, and 4....his first round knockdowns and slow crawls back into contention with both Jones and Hopkins. I'm glad he retired....or I'd be dead.

Duran v Barkley, I was 13 years old when I saw this, early in 1990. I watched this fight every day for at least a month.
Chavez v Taylor 1. Again, similar age to above. Again, watched countless times.
Benn v Eubank 1. Easily the fight I have watched more than any other.
These were my first encounters with the drama that only a big fight can deliver. I think I was trying to relive that magical tension of my first viewing each time I rewatched these fights. And being 12-13 years old, I thought it was possible.
Benn v Eubank is the only one of these fights I watched live, which is why I was a little more manic in my repeat viewings. It was the first domestic superfight of my time and I was thrilled that I could talk to my school mates about the fight, as opposed to berating their total ignorance of Chavez, Duran, Hagler, Herol Graham countless greats that I had read about.
When Douglas beat Tyson I was one frenzied schoolboy.

Holyfield v Tyson.
Lewis v Vitali.

Douglas did look great in that fight. His combinations were superb. Great timing.
Re: which fight have you watched the most times ?
Ali-Frazier I.
Re: which fight have you watched the most times ?
this is easy
1st Mickey Ward vs Arturo Gatti 1. brilliant fight and my favourite of all time
2nd Calzaghe vs Kessler. just great seeing both of them at their best.
3rd Henry Cooper vs Cassius Clay (Muhammad Ali) 1 . (highlights only) love this fight just seeing the best British heavyweight of all time nearly do what everyone said was impossible.
3rd Amir Khan vs Breidis Prescott (full fight) I lost count of how many times this fight has come up whenever khan's punch resistance is mentioned

There are many I've seen dozens of times, but one of these four; Morales/Pac 1, Saad/Lopez 2 Leonard/Hearns 1 or Duran/Leonard 1 has to be the most

This one, cause I've never seen a fight like it.
