Peter Fury says the fight is in doubt. It's not been signed.

At least if it hasn't been signed, it's not as ridiculous as all of the pull-outs after signing made by Fury and/or his opponents.

didn't know his uncle had died, if the fight doesn't happen, fair enough. Let him take all the time he needs.

my opinion if they will fight, yes, they will fight again because they are two of the uk's best heavyweights right now and if not for titles or prestige etc., this will be a good gauge of how they both have developed since their last fight.

While of course risking the chance of sounding insensitive, postponements for boxing matches or illnesses is getting old, and I imo not necessary. Many, and probably all of us have had close relatives pass away in the past. Normally people cannot afford to postpone "work" for a few months because of it. Most times it is best to keep on working after a mourning period to hopefully keep your mind off of it. Sometimes you can use it as a motivation to accomplish something great.

All that said, I do wish Fury the best. This fight was not exactly one that people were frothing at the mouth at to watch anyway.

very good points made and well said and that includes the part about not frothing at the mouth I admit.
I think its just finding someone who fits into their training the way his uncle did or at least someone who could have a similar influence that his uncle may have done.

Tyson Fury only fought eight months ago and has since had fight cancellations against Alexander Ustinov and Dereck Chisora. Even though he only fought once in 2013, against Steve Cunningham, he also had to endure two fight cancellations against David Haye.

Therefore, why do you claim that Tyson Fury has retired (unless you’re merely trolling)?
The contest with Abell may as well of been an exhibition. It was a mere excercise. At any time, Fury could of taken the bum out. And that was Fury at his fattest, slowest, and rustiest.

My greatest fear is that he'll only of done two fights in the span of a year and a half. He beats Chisora, he'll become the WBO mandatory. I don't know if he could even stand a chance with that much inactivity and rust against Klitschko. Fury at his busiest and best shape, would of still been an underdog, but at least a live one.

I'm having flash backs of Cooney when he was inactive for nearly 18 months before facing Holmes.

When I started reading your post I was thinking of Cooney also.
Has anyone seen Fury lately? He looks to have lost a bunch of weight.
Hopefully he is starting to take training more serious

Didn't David Haye say they had only sold 4000 tickets prior to the 1st fight cancellation.
With Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jr on the undercard it sounds like a potentially entertaining card.
They're probably just crunching numbers and deciding on who gets what in terms of purse split.

I hope Tyson (< lol) Fury never fights again and is consigned to the boxing dustbin where the coward belongs. Thanks for the memories... or memory rather Fury, specifically of uppercutting yourself.

I am going through Fury's fight cancellations.I only find one fight so far that he pulled out of.
All other cancellations were by his opponents. Why all the hate on him for this?
There are far better reasons to hate the guy but why blame him for this?

The same Chisora that has fought Vitali, Haye and travelled to fight Helenius in his own backyard?
