Awful news for them, only a day ago we heard of signs of improvement. Condolences to the entire Fury family.Boxerbeetle wrote:Fury's just tweeted that his uncle Hughie has passed away. Hope it doesn't affect the fight. RIP of course though.

Condolences to the Fury family at this time, very sad news.
Re: Fury vs Chisora in doubt - fight hasnt been signed
Can anyone shed further light on this quote from Peter Fury last night?
"Thanks to Mr Bill Ives" Frank Warren " Mick Hennessy for sealing this partnership with allegedly & Ch 5"

Peter Fury also tweeted that the fights definitely on and that Tyson would be fighting on allegedly in the future

A partnership between Channel 5 and Boxn@tion, hmmmmmmmmmm....Sklar wrote:Can anyone shed further light on this quote from Peter Fury last night?

Not sure what this will actually mean in reality. Tyson Fury is a Mick Hennessey/Channel 5 man, but looks like he'll be fighting a lot more on Boxn@tion in the future. Whether this will mean that Boxn@tion fighters (those promoted/mamanged by FW, Ricky Hatton, Barry McGuigan etc.) will be on Channel 5 I doubt!
Could also mean that Mick Hennessey will promote on Boxn@tion, or that the Boxn@tion promoters (mentioned above) will promote on Channel 5. Again, I doubt the latter!

For letting him fight on BN when instead of CH5 who signed up the entire Hennessey stable?
