When you stop training and go off the juice think you mucles turn to crap as well so should be soft and flabby looking under his shirt.
Not when you bulk up with 'roids. I know a guy who used to use them like crazy and he was massive, a month after stopping he was about half the size it was unbelievable.
I heard Juice is supposed to put water in your muscles or something? Is that true?
Could explain all the injuries he was getting too.

Your muscles shrink when you stop training, thats all, muscles either grow or shrink depending on their regular workload.
Steroids make you recover quicker from training, so you can train harder, longer and more often, hence the muscle growth. The fact that Vitali seems to have shrunk so fast makes me suspect that he was training like a nutter to bulk himself and improve his strength.
What is doubly weird is that it's not that long since he was in training, so for him to look so goddam skinny is bizzare if he isn't taking anything.
It is possible I suppose that he has the body type which gains and loses weight very easily, which I think is a mesomorph, but you do have to wonder when you see those pictures just how he got so big.

just a little theory here,
perhaps vitali was training for rahman without the use of roids because of a lot of stories circulating that he admitted to taking them before and therefore he could be under more scrutiny now (hence him looking not so big now) and as the fight was approaching he realised he was not as strong or as energetic without them (rumors of being dropped in camp), so he decided to call it off with an injury rather than risk getting beaten or worse yet, knocked out.
Just an idea. But the first thing when i saw that pic was damn, he looks skinny, and im sure it hasnt been from the couple of weeks since he the rahman fight was cancelled, i mean, i didnt see any work out or traing camp pics this time round, so maybe its been a more gradual thing.

That's not that massive dude who looked like buster bloodvessel is it, the one who had a hair trigger temper and used to lash out at people for 'crowding his space.' If so, he was a proper steroid loon, he battered the fornicate out of someone we knew at uni, Luke his name was, the guy smashed down his door and picked him up and threw him against the wall then kicked the fornicate out of him for no reason, except his own paranoia.knockout wrote:Guy i knew in University. was about 6' 3... at aged 18 he was 12 stone.....
jumped on the gear, by the time he was 21 he had doubled his bodyweight... Obviously at 24 stone he wasnt all muscle but that shows the power of the juice...
I read an excellent article on the old east german regime and the amount the juice increased your performance (especially women) was extraordinary....
Margitta Gummell was a very good shot putter... and had been doing it for many years... her best was just under 18 meters... In the late 60s the DDR started its doping programme and kept records on everyone.
in 1968 June her best was about 17m50, after 10 weeks on the juice she had improved her best 20 meters and won the olympics and set a new world record...
we are talking a 15% improvement in performance in just 10 weeks.....
