I just finished transferring the January 3, 1989 ESPN telecast of the John Duplessis vs. Tunde Foster card. Here is some additional information missing from your records. The complete fight location is Lakefront Arena, New Orleans University, New Orleans, Louisiana. On the undercard is a 6 round Jr. Middleweight bout between David Collette and Willow Thomas. Weights for these boxers are Collette 156 1/2 lbs.(your record has him at 156), Thomas 154 lbs.. Note that both ring announcer Michael Buffer and the ESPN announcers give Collette's (spelled Collet on the telecast) ring record as 8-0 (6 KOs) during the telecast. I'm assuming that your listing of 7-1 (5 KOs) is the correct record, but I wanted to give you the record as announced during the fight just in case of an error somewhere. Thanks.
