It may just be in the wording, but Haye, Fury, Chisora or Price "just give him a fight"?

there's a very real chance he loses against at least one of those guys and given that we still know very little about Anthony at a decent level, there is the slight possibility he loses to any of them

I personally think he might go on to be a really good heavyweight, he does look really impressive right now, but i think we're all jumping the gun a bit with the lad, he's a long way from competing at world class

I would imagine he would be the clear betting underdog in all of those fights if they were made for next year ... With the possible exception of Price as he hasn't really beaten anyone better than Joshua, although I suppose you would argue that Pala or Sexton are better than anyone AJ has bested.

So yeah, "give him a fight" is a stupid statement.

He would be the favourite to LOSE every single one of those fights!

I've said for a while, that i'd love to see Joshua Vs Hughie Fury.

Is Hughie going to fight again?

I've no idea.

he's only been out of the ring 5 months

Have you heard something that i haven't? Was he considering retirement because he never won the world title quicker than tyson?

Someone said to me that he had a blood condition that meant he may have to retire.....his twitter suggests different.

Fairplay! I never noticed it. Thanks for the insight.

I like John but I don't think John is an Artist, and I'm sure of that..

Molded from playdough would be more appropriate with those two.

2 sides to every story. He has not had any offers

Dillon White, Sexton and Lewison are three he's been offered/matched with in the past couple of years. Just a real shame a guy still fairly young with all that ability goes so long between fights. He gave Povetkin a lot of trouble last year in sparring and was meant to be sparring him again this summer.

I think John McDermott is quite underrated. He just needs to believe in himself more. He's taken a couple of dives because he didn't want to take anymore punishment imo.
