Dawson Will #1 Light Heavy Again...

Post by bnovelist »

I'm not sold on Dawson being washed up....like many boxing critics believe...no way....

He was actually getting to Pascal before the unfortunate headbutt, Hopkins bitched out in their 1st fight which Chad was winning easily, and he

weight drained himself against Ward. Then not enough time to recover from the Ward loss he travels to fight in Stevenson's home turf losing.

Really to me Chad Dawson just more of has had a struck of mainly bad business decisions than actual losses! He trains hard, has a ton of heart,

and he is FEARLESS. MARK MY WORDS IF HE KEEPS ACTIVE TRAINING AND TAKING LOW RISK FIGHTS TO PRESERVE HIMSELF HE WILL GET A

CRACK AT A DAMAGED STEVENSON, HOPKINS, PASCAL, OR KOVALEZ.....THAT'S HOW BOXING WORKS LOL....ALL CHAD NEEDS TO

DO KEEP A LOW PROFILE BUT KEEP ACTIVE.....AND WATCH HOW THE SITUATION PLAYS OUT 2YRS FROM NOW

I agree, I like chad, with Kovalev being at the top it will be hard for Chad to be #1 but he will defiantly be a top fighter again.

For what it's worth, I think Dawson will struggle to actually get any meaningful fights anymore! Before the Karpency loss there was a good chance promoters would wanna put their prospects in against him for the name value and the fact that he would be seen as below the likes of Kovalev, Stevenson, Hopkins and co but beaten obviously the likes of Hopkins aswell so there would still be value to putting your prospect in against him if they won. Now he's lost to fornicating Karpency he'll be seen as somewhat dangerous still but very little reward in beating him. On top of that he's not a ticket seller either and thus people arent gonna be wanting to fight him for a payday. He'll get frozen out I bet.

He's a Haymon fighter, so that's assured.

I thought Karpencey was considered a low risk fight.
I wish Dawson well, but can't see him reaching the top again.
Wouldn't be too surprised if he gets fed to Beterbiev soon

You mean Sergey Marco Antonio Kovalez? Russian father Mexican mother? He's impressive until he speaks.
