While I respect your points, I haven't seen anywhere near enough of Joshua's defensive capabilities to suggest he could cope with an explosive, powerful counter puncher like Haye. Don't get me wrong, the fight intrigues me, but I feel Haye has been overlooked in favour of hyperbole slightly here.

Haye has good head movement, footwork and reflexes. None of Joshua's pro opponents to date have those attributes.

I'd be pleased to see Haye come back. There are massive double standards when it comes to any possible Haye comeback. Remember the chat when Fury had the keep busy, cobwebs blow off against Abell? 'Fury needs a fight, good to see him out there' etc etc

Haye has major surgery, doesn't fight for ages, career in jeopardy yet any mention of any possible comeback is met with 'oh he's bound to fight a load of shite'

He won a world title belt away from home TWICE and then went to Wlad's backyard too, irrespective of how he performed. Some would be fooled in to thinking Haye take the easy option all the time and never wants a challenge. That's Fury. Haye has eff all to prove.

Ive always wanted to see haye fight him. I just think it would be a real spectacle. Haye wont be on this card he'll be fighting in the US for his comeback and foreseeable future.

it wasnt haye who sank ppv, it was the fact it was such a one sided fight and it was the straw that broke the camels back after a long string of poor ppv events. Haye smashed audley to pieces in 3 rounds you cant really expect him to do more, if haye has KO'd him in round one ppv would have still gone under.

Where have you read or heard this? I'm still highly doubtful his return will be on the undercard of an event that shouldn't be PPV.

He's been out of action for over 2 years now, whether his shoulder is 100% or not is dountful, and he's 34 now...
I agree this is young for most heavies, but Hayes style isnt like Wlads who could probably still be in his peak (in terms of his boxing style) into his early 40's...

Also, when I say he's been out of action for over 2 years now he truly has, unlike fury who has been staying active sparring in the gym!

Some people seem to despise Haye. He said some stupid things before and after the Wlad fight granted, but no-one can prove that his recent injuries have been fake. It's frustrating, but if they're genuine injuries then it can't really be held against him. Apart from that, he's an explosive and mobile HW, former world champ at 2 weights (2 title wins away from home) and he brings excitement to a boring division. Also, although his performance was way below par, he fought Wlad (best HW in a decade and in many P4P lists) in the Ukrainian's adopted country and didn't get stopped or even hurt badly at any time. I'd welcome him back to the ring if fit and ready.

yep agreed, and I was one of the people that went over for the fight against Wlad which wasn't his finest hour by a long shot, but I just think that if he is fit and ready he is the best heavy weight we have in this country.

I wouldnt be able to commit to saying any WOULD beat him, but I think Fury, Joshua, Price and Chisora could beat him, especially now...

Hopefully time will tell. I hope he does come back and faces someone in the top 50 atleast as I am a big David Haye fan...

yep take your points but to say any of those COULD beat him...well yes that's pretty obvious.....I COULD pull Jessica Alba, but I doubt it would happen.

Maybe I just don't rate the current crop enough...not one of them has done enough for me to think they could beat Haye but yes I agree maybe i'm thinking he will come back as explosive as he was before (In most fights anyway)
