U never no with board tho. Troy has won 2 eliminators but neither were a final eliminator. Like u say walsh is mandatory and that fight is set. Board cud easily make a final eliminator troy v mitchell smith or evans sud he beat ronnie cud b mix.

Troy will fight the winner of Sykes Vs Walsh or before if either pull out. The rest are a few fights behind

Dean if Troy manages to win the British will you give Ronnie an immediate rematch as a voluntary?? Surely after such a close fight would be good thing to give the shot to the guy most deserving??

I can't see why Troy can't & won't win a British title, a fight we would like to take would be Buckland, Troy & Gary have sparred many many rounds and Tony Borg would agree it certainly would be a contender for FOTY, the sparring you would pay to watch, so that would be potential fight we would like to try and push Troys name out there into public domain.

Don't know about a immediate rematch mate, has competitive has it was I still don't think it was that close tbh, I have watched it many many times and still have Troy winning by 3 rounds, but if Ronnie can get a series of wins back and a decent name on his record then I can't see why the board would not allow it, so of course yes mate, can't see why not, be another good fight wouldn't it.

You don't realise much tbh Billy, except doubting and putting my lads down constantly.

i apoligise if you think that's the case mate and I seriously don't mean anything by making a judgement call, and that's all it is, I wish I had £100 everytime I was wrong lol

I am not going to pretend and say this is an easy fight for Ronnie but I believe in myself and Ronnie and think if we do things correctly in the gym and get a fair crack from the officials then Ronnie can get the win. Craig is a very good boxer and it will be a hard fight but Craig will have to make sure he weighs in at the correct weight!!

Billy I have a lot of time for you but you always seem to give Ronnie no chance when he is fighting, i don't know if it is because of things that have happened in the past but I think you should try and not let personal feeling come into things when you are making predictions!! It's like when one of your fighters are boxing then they are the best in their division or if someone has been in your gym sparring or you have been in their gym then they are the favourite for their fight when you make predictions !! ( I remember how much you hyped Tyrone Nurse and i wasn't impressed with him at all) You know that Ronnie will always have a chance against any British Super Feather and can give them all a decent fight of it, he might not beat them all but they will know they have been in a fight regardless!!

Imo Ronnie is still a relative novice in boxing terms with only a handful of amateur fights and 14 pro fights, he is learning every session and there is more to come.

not at all Dave I thought he could have beaten Troy James, your right he is still inexperienced and massive credit to him for taking this fight, I've said before Ronnie wouldn't shy away from a proper fight but I'm only giving my opinion Evans is a very skilled fighter who hasn't been very active, I think the winner of this fight could and should fight for the British title
I do hope there's more to come from Ronnie because your not daft David fighting for the title is another level up and he will need to improve

Not once in the build up to the Troy fight did you ever say that you thought Ronnie could win and to be fair you ruled out either for having a chance at winning the British Title!! I enjoy reading posts from anyone that gives a logical reason why but sometimes you just make statements without really giving any real reason why. What I do know is that we will prepare for Craig Evans and that Ronnie will leave it all in there and imo if Ronnie puts it all together he can come away with the win.
