Here is how it looked from the other end.

Interesting to hear Eubank Jr has been training with the Mayweather team, I'm sure he will have been getting some top sparring there. I still give Saunders the edge because of his experience at that level.

BJS seems very confident , he ether knows he's gonna school him or he's over playing his hand ?
I think BJS alday but I wouldn't be surprised if this was more of a 50/50 fight then it grains on me to give it .

Eubank is proberly making more money than BJS so why risk it all?

I feel Eubank will knock out Saunders. Those Eubanks are not silly!!
So you haven't watched Saunders, but know that Eubank Jr will beat him. How does that work? They may think he can beat Saunders, but that doesn't mean he will. One is British, Commonwealth and European champion, been 12 rounds on a number of occasions, beaten his main challengers at domestic level and was a top quality amateur and Olympian. The other has beaten Latvian bouncers, never been past 8 rounds and has very little amateur pedigree, but has a famous father who was an excellent fighter. I know which one I'm picking. Saunders got £61k for fighting Ryder, as Mickey said, Eubank Jr won't have made much more. Billy can't be too badly if he can stick stuff like this on twitter - his response to Junior claiming he didn't have £20k

I never said Jr would beat BJS you like a fkucking Tory twisting words. I said 'proberly' im on the fence, but we havent seen what Jr is really about.

I think it is the mark of a lot of our (as in the UK) best fighters over the years have been able to step in as a fairly big underdog against a much more experienced fighter and perform. Eubank Sr did it against Benn (who at the time had been in with far better opponents.) Hatton did it against Tszyu having not fought anywhere near that level of opponent before. I could go on.

If Eubank Jr does win this fight I'll be very impressed and hopeful that he can kick on to win a World title. I do however think Saunders will win.

Hahaha. Just seen the end of the presser where they all kick off over the final press conference the week before the fight.

I suspect the boxing community will have a collection to buy fwank a present to help him deal with this incredibly difficult negotiation. I imagine all those he's sued over the years will be first in line and will dig deep. I am not a rich man but I pledge to match Ricky burns' donation, because it's really bothered me just how hard it's been on fwank, dealing with the Eubanks.

Eubank Sr obviously wants the best for his son though i reckon young Jr should dump him as his manager/promoter or whatever role he's playing. He appears to be an absolute nightmare to work with.

Eubank Jr embarrasses Saunders in this, how many BJ fights have seen you seen and say "he looked amazing"? No? Me either, Eubank Jr has a special boxing quality about him that Saunders does not possess. In addition to that Saunders is a thoroughly unlikeable character and has been for years in my book, especially given his recent outbursts, it will be gratifying to see him put in his place.

Historically sons of world champions tend to under perform. In comparison to their parent they end up with an abridged amateur career, a shortened pro build up, and then effectively cash in on their names to some extent.

I agree with this comment, but again Jr has not shown what he has, he may may eff all, but on the night the question will be answered. Then we can have a good ding dong where he goes next and is he his fathers son.

Predicting an outcome of any big fight is hard enough although we seldom see genuine competititve dust ups these days but when you have an unbeaten prospect(Eubank Jr) going in with a seasoned pro like Saunders its a real case of sink or swim for Chris because TBH as much as love this fight and kudos for it being made,i just think from Eubanks POV he's being thrown in at the deep end,Hennessey should have tried to get Chris a shot at the Saunders old British or Commonwealth belts just to let Chris get some rounds and experience to make sure he has the best preperation going into a big fight

I think most people assume that if Saunders wins then he wont stop Chris and probably wont even hurt him and that Eubank would probably be able to jump back into a British/Commonwealth title fight, gain experience then chase the rematch

As much as im warming to Eubank Jr's ability because he is impressing me more with each passing fight,Billy Joe has as much 12 round experience than anyone in the country and he wins a close but in the end comfortable points win

Im a big fan of Saunders style and though he had to work very hard i had him beating Ryder handidly

I like saunders's boxing ability and he is a decent fighter but I genuinely have a feeling he'll end up being stopped by Eubank jnr.

The little spat between Warren and Eubank at the end really did make me laugh.

I can see there being a few hiccups along the way judging by their relationship during the press conference.
