Roy Jones Jr. vs. Larry Holmes

Rocky Marciano vs. Jimmy Young

Floyd Patterson vs. Micheal Spinks

Jack Dempsey vs. Lennox Lewis

Mike Tyson vs. Akinwade

Evander Holyfield vs. Sonny Liston

Joe Louis vs. George Foreman (first career)

Riddick Bowe vs. Muhammed Ali

For the one that's going to get knocked out in the first round. Roy Jones, of course.

Joe Louis vs. George Foreman (first career)- Foreman ko 2

how is this going to happen ??

lewis defintley would not finish dempsey in one, in fact if the fight finished in 1 round, dempsey would be the one standing

foreman was too crude and wild, and left himself way too open to beat joe louis who's faster more accurate straight punches would have pounded foreman into submission

sonny liston would jab and box holyfield to death and when holyfield triis to brawl, liston would knock holyfield down. holyfield would take a 15 round beating

Lewis was no Firpo or Willard. Dempsey would get taken out by one vicious right hand.
foreman was too crude and wild, and left himself way too open to beat joe louis who's faster more accurate straight punches would have pounded foreman into submission
Louis would never get close enough to pound Foreman into anything. Louis would be there to hit, and did not possess the chin of Frazier. It would be an even bigger beating than smoking Joe got.
sonny liston would jab and box holyfield to death and when holyfield triis to brawl, liston would knock holyfield down. holyfield would take a 15 round beating
Holyfield is too tough for Liston. He could take Listons best and counter punch him with shots that would eventually wear Liston down.

louis was a lot better than frazier. louis had a much better punching arsenal than frazier. louis could KO you with both hands, better accuracy, faster hands, plus unlike frazier louis had an incredible jab to keep foreman off him. louis fought different than frazier, louis stalked you slowly and waited for the opening and was unpredictable when he drew u in so he could fire incredible counter punches. frazier came in with predictable head movement never changing his rythem. foreman swung wide punches and would leave himself open after every shot. louis fast SHORT STRAIGHT punches would beat foreman to the punch and leave him helplessly on the canvas.

Lewis was no Firpo or Willard. Dempsey would get taken out by one vicious right hand.
dempsey was no rahman or golota, it would take more than one shot to finish him. dempsey was at his best vs the biggerman, plus he was a lot harder to hit than u think. he was incredible fast on his feet and was great defensively when he got in his attacking crouch with incredible bobbinfg and weaving head movement. he would get low then come up in that crouch with huge punches that lewis would never see coming.

Holyfield is too tough for Liston. He could take Listons best

he could not take listons best. he could not even take bowes best punches without getting badly hurt(1st) and knocked out(3rd)

I dont care how much better technically Louis was than Frazier, he would not have fared any better getting inside close enough to land his arsenal on Foreman. Foreman did not just swing wild punches at Joe, he had alot more teqnique than you give me credit for. Like you wrote, Louis was methgodical and threw SHORT straight punches. Foreman would not allow him that luxury. Louis did not possess the chin to withstand the assualt he would undoublty recieve before landing his combinations.
dempsey was at his best vs the biggerman,
Bigger men with hardly no skill to speak of. Rahman and Goloto were alot better then any big man Dempsey beat.
he was incredible fast on his feet and was great defensively when he got in his attacking crouch with incredible bobbinfg and weaving head movement.
Dempsey's defense was far from great. His offense was his primary denfense against the unskilled lummoxs he did so well against. Smaller better skilled fighters he beat didnt find it to diffucult to hit him at all, but were not powerful enough to compete with him. Lewis's size, skill and power would overwhelm the mauler decisively.

he could not take listons best. he could not even take bowes best punches without getting badly hurt(1st) and knocked out(3rd)
I think he could. Do not underrate Bowe who probably would have given Liston all he could handle. Bowe's size combine with his technically sound skills is what troubled Holyfield mainly.

Frazier pressed forward his head in his opponents chest while he threw left hooks; Johnson was tall strong top flight at blocking and parrying punches and his best punches were uppercuts inside. Frazier made for him; Johnson by tko or ko within 7.
Holmes beats the tar out of RJJ
Marciano beats young easy as Young is not a mover per se; very shifty and cute but Marciano would just punch through all of that because he wasn't a scientific type of guy to buy in on feints and such.
Patterson beats Spinks by decision.
Dempsey over Lewis in an update on the Willard fight.
Tyson if we are referring to the mid to late 80s version; after that it wouldn't be a fight I'd look forward to as the potential for misery is so high.
Holyfield was never able to get out of the way of a jab; he ate 'em like popcorn and Liston had a jab plus. Liston by ko or tko in 8-10
Louis too sharp a puncher, too fast, much the better boxer.
This may be the only time I've ever picked Ali in a "what if" matchup. UD easy.

Johnson W15 Frazier

Joe can't work on the inside as much as he'd like to. Johnson pretty much nullifies him and builds a big lead. maybe around 8-9 Joe lands a big one and scores a KD. he comes on strong for a few rounds but can't finish it. Jack then gets back in the driving seat and sees out a win something like 9-6 in rounds.

Holmes KO1 Jones

Why is this even being posted? Maybe Jones dances his way into the 3rd, who knows... BUT this is the elast competitive match up on thsi list by a long lone way.

Marciano KO 14 Young

Rocky might get him out of there earlier but my guess is he wears him down and brutally finishes him taking years off Young's career in the process.

Patterson W15 Spinks

Patterson has the speed to fight Spinks and the power to hurt him. Also, Floyd would eb confident as the bigger man.

Dempsey - Lewis

hardest fight for me to predict. If Jack comes out looking for him then I think Lewis could get him out of there quickly. if Jack keeps out of the way of the jab and raises the pace later on in the fight then he can really get to Lewis. Dempsey has the power, work-rate and stamina to beat Lewis but he has to avoid the big right hands as a fluish right would KO Jack.

Tyson KO 2 Akinwande

Mike wins a slug out.

Liston W15 Holyfield

This one is a split decision. Liston's jab busts him up but Holyfield rallies hard. Definitely a rematch. 2nd hardest fight for me to call on the list.

Louis KO 8 Foreman

BB has pretty much written down my opinion. Joe's faster, more accurate punches would get George out of there. Maybe Louis has to get up early on in the fight, no not amybe, let's say definitely, even so Louis comes abck to win. A very exciting fight.

Ali W15 Bowe

Bowe has his moments when he pumps that jab but Ali just throws too many punches too quickly for Bowe.
