If Rubio pulled off the upset of all upsets tonight and beat Golovkin would the win just end up being dismissed because Rubio came in overweight and thus was the heavier man? For me, because Rubio has come in overweight, the intrigue has gone away somewhat because if he did somehow pull off the upset I dont think he'd get full credit for the win or it wouldnt be seen as Golovkin being "exposed" somewhat. To be honest, I dont think he's got a hope in hell anyway but if he did manage it I wonder if that would be the case.

Re: IF ......................
If Rubio pulled of upset of GGG not due to some type of freak accident like dislocated shoulder, we would have to say GGG was a scam. I don't think Rubio is going to pull the upset.
Re: IF ......................
Nobody will dismiss Rubio's win because of those 2 pounds if he stops GGG or wins a fair decision. His chances are about 5% though.
Re: IF ......................
It would be a Buster Douglas moment. I gave Rios and Guerrero better chanves at beating Floyd n Pac.
Re: IF ......................
GGG will bludgeon Rubio.
Re: IF ......................
Slightly off topic but Golovkin vs Pavlik in his prime would of been an interesting fight.
Re: IF ......................
I sincerely hope GGG pounds the piss out of Rubio. Not making weight to me is the ultimate act of being unprofessional and is disrespectful to the sport. I have cut a lot of weight in my day, and know it can be done, if you want to do it. Even being in top shape, you can drain 5-10lbs of water weight in a day without too much trouble.
