Mayweather is the P4P Number One fighter in the world. How can he not be top of his division?

And how exactly is Wilder number one in the Heavyweight division?

Because results & opposition are a waste of time when ranking a fighter.

I'm just shocked Ali Raymi isn't in his list.

because floyd past it. and if maidana can make it close and win so many rounds, than pacquiao with his speed/power would beat floyd in my eyes. i mean with kenny breaaakkkkk bayless floyd wins, but with a 50/50 ref pac wins.

because

a wlad is a wrestler

b wlad has nurmeros dq losses in my eyes, ref got paid well not to give them

c simply because right now wilder knocks out wlad. or wlad hold and crabs all day and if you do that consitantly it is nobody who does it a dq loss

After looking at the #1 HW in that list, there is no point to look any further.

Wilder may well prove to be better than many people think. But #1 at the present time he is not.

You sound like you got something personal with Wlad, did he take your girl?

I guarantee you he will knock Wilder out without holding and grabbing, it will be same fight as with Wach except it will end a lot earlier.

All the news from Japan is that Inoue is vacating in the next few weeks, he can't make 108 any more and could end up returning as high as 115.

Mikey Garcia ahead of either of the Japanese champions at 130 seems disputable as well.

I'll give you two lists, one based on who I think should be considered the champion or the #1 ranked - either the lineal or most accomplished fighter, the other based on who I think is the best boxer in their division. To be fair, I won't do divisions below super bantamweight due to a gap in my knowledge of fighters at those weights.

Proper rankings:
HW - Wlad
CW - Hernandez (shaky because he could easily have lost a couple of decisions)
LHW - Stevenson
SMW - Ward
MW - Cotto
LMW - Mayweather (inactive in the division for over a year, if he's removed it would be Canelo)
WW - Mayweather
LWW - Garcia
LW - Crawford
SFW - M.Garcia
FW - Gonzales
SBW - Rigondeaux

Best:
HW - Wlad
CW - Too hard to call
LHW - Kovalev
SMW - Ward
MW - GGG
LMW - Mayweather/Canelo - same reasons as above
WW - Mayweather
LWW - Hard to call
LW - Crawford
SFW - M.Garcia
FW - Gonzales or Walters (edge to Walters)
SBW - Rigondeaux

good list...the second one hehe

No, it's 2014 - and Floyd is still undefeated and since that time he has beaten future HOFers in Cotto & Canelo, so you'd have to put him as the P4P number one. Compare that to Pacquaio who got KO'd against Juanma Marquez.

Great list I would only change Huck as the #1 at cruiserweight. And that is up for debate.

That works the other way around too, no boxing expert or magazine in the world today will tell you that Manny is better than Floyd but you will see Mayweather at the top of nearly everyone's list.

exactly.....and by the way....both struggled

pacquiao was leading on points and than got kod

the next 2 fights he easily won against bradley and rios

floyd had an md against canelo and

some say a draw vs maidana

and the second maidana fight was straight up bs. bayless not lettin maidana box

from the inside. floyd not getting 1 deduction for excessive hugging......

both, pac and floyd didnt look spectacular in reascent time. both arent p4p #1 to me.

GGG had looked spectacular, rigo has looked superb. these 2 are the new boxers for the first place.
