That would be a decent fight for both and would save Davie the problem of having to sell tickets! Who is your Super Middle signed with ?billy nelson wrote:not at all David I was thinking my other super middle Mohamad Babazadeh he makes is debut on the Nov 15th show at RavenscraigDavid McAllister wrote:billy nelson wrote:Does Dave still get managed by Tony Lindie coz I'd gladly have him fight my super middle weight if he wants a contest, I'm sure Tonys got a show in Dec so plenty time for him to get ready
I hope your not trying to match David Brophy with Davie Drummond mate!! Haha This is no disrespect to Davie Drummond but why would you be wanting to fight him when it will gain your fighter absolutely nothing? Davie Drummond has had 2 fights and hasn't fought in ages, shouldn't you be trying to match David Brophy with someone that will put him into contention for a title fight of some sort??
I like Davie Drummond but he should be finding his feet in the pro game just like anyone else, he wasn't some unreal amateur he was a win some lose some boxer and he needs to be more active but against opposition that will give him rounds to learn and find his feet. He hasn't taken that much punishment so he is a fresh 32, I'd like to see him not worry about teh big fights but just keeping himself busy and learning.
Your bang on David, Brophy with luck will fight for at least the British or Commonwealth next year and win it.
