Ali Raymi is fighting for his first world title

Post by GilFilmore »

On November 25th in Sanaa, Yemen, the record breaking undefeated knockout master Ali Raymi is set to return to the squared circle to fight Yemeni boxing technician Omar Awdan in a highly anticipated rematch.

This time a world championship will be at stake. Both fighters are vying for the prestige of becoming the first ever UBO world minimumweight champion. History will be made in about one month's time.

Who wins this bout and how????

Will Raymi win again and continue his historic KO streak???

Or will the slickster Awdan find a way to outbox and solve the Labyrinth that is Ali Raymi??

Assuming your post isn't dripping with sarcasm, I'm curious how you figure that Awdan is a "boxing technician" and a "slickster"?

I got an email from the Yemen commission letting me know that Raymi beat Prince Maz for the third time on October 16th by a RTD9. Apparently there was some controversy though, as the ref missed Raymi getting knocked down twice, so they're having a fourth "epic" battle on November 19th at 108 lbs.

Prince Maz was the only realistic opponent that Raymi could reap BoxRec rating points from... makes sense. I foresee Raymi/Harazi as a 'passing of the torch' sort of match in the near future.

Grey...I gotta ask, how do we know this all is 'really' legit?

Christ I hope no one thinks this charade is in anyway rooted in reality, its just a joke that they've managed to get away with because of where they based

I'm still convinced its a conspiracy to rise to the top of the software-based rating systems.

Hahaha Harazi has a nice lil 3-0 record versus 10-1, 9-1 and 5-0 boxers and shut all of them out w/o losing a round, of course i take none of this crap serious but raymi will lose soon lol

I just wrote a script to falsify wins against undefeated opponents who themselves have beaten exclusively undefeated opponents. I'm gonna make a fighter record that is 100-0 by midnight, but first we have to vote on what to name him. My vote is for Sugar Dick Tiger. Also, I need names for his opponents, like The Cookie Crumble.

They do send in videos amazingly enough. And all the information they send in looks proper. I've had suspicions from them and other countries in the past. I will say the videos look less like the sparring sessions one promoter from Brazil would try to present to us as legitimate fights from his basement.

I should add I have also believed this to be the case but now I'm 50/50 about it.

Gents!!!!! BACK THE TRUCK UP - Raymi is ALREADY a world champion!

He won the IBI (I kid you not) in his last fight with Maz, at Strawweight. Their 4th encounter is for the IBI Light-Flyweight title (again, I kid you not). What the heck, if Eubank and Watson can contest 2 world titles at 2 weights in 2 consecutive fights - then why can't these two ATG's?

Why don't more of his fights end up on youtube?

probably because they never happened. on a side note am sure something like this happened in the 70s with someone sending the ring mag fake fight reports to get a fictional fighter a world ranking just to see if it was possible

He'll be a unified world champion holding both the IBI and UBO titles (If he wins on 11/25 of course).

Maybe after he'll go for the undisputed unification and capture the WBF (World Boxing FOUNDATION "Yemeni Version") and GBO (Global Boxing Organization) world championships.

It's because they break the Youtube barrier of daily views

Until he fights on a Stacey Goodson card and wins the Trailer park trash title. He will be a fraud in my eyes.
