Ricky Hatton vs Amir Khan at 140lbs

Khan points, too much speed and intensity for Hatton.

Over the years Ricky has gone from overrated to underrated, 2002-2005 Hatton would walk through Khan. I like Khan I think he's got guts, he's fast but he's not a tactical genius in the ring and often looks lost when plan A isn't working.

I think you've applied this word to the wrong fighter!ArmaanCFC wrote:Khan points, too much speed and intensity for Hatton.

I'll say Hatton, Ricky in his prime was pretty much fearless and would have hunted Khan down until he could start trading with him then over power him and try for an early finish, even if he couldn't get the finish I think he would take a decision based on aggression, ring control and effective punches as opposed to khan's speed and combinations.

I think Khan would light him up. He'd be eating punches like there's no tommorow. He basically had no defense Hatton.

Well how did he go years barely losing a round, let alone a fight, then?lefty wrote:I think Khan would light him up. He'd be eating punches like there's no tommorow. He basically had no defense Hatton.

This isn't true at all, Ricky actually had some pretty decent skills and movement and could take a fair amount of punishment and keep coming forward.lefty wrote:I think Khan would light him up. He'd be eating punches like there's no tommorow. He basically had no defense Hatton.

Khan would box Ricky easily if he was given the space to. He wouldn't get that opportunity Ricky would close the range and bust him up.

There's only one Ricky Hatton.
